WTF with O'Neil? What's wrong with Turley?
Turley was dressed earlier today, then was in running shoes, then back in wrestling shoes when Alvarez got pinned. I am going to assume he is healthy enough to wrestle, but is resting for precautionary reasons. Will find out more after the match.

Cheers of "BOOOOONE" come from the crowd as Boone McDermott takes the mat to wrestle Joe Doyle in the final bout of the day.

McDermott takes down Doyle to go up 2-0. Doyle has to take injury time for an apparent ankle injury

Doyle gets back to his feet and will continue. McDermott chooses neutral to restart the match

Doyle will injury default, and Rutgers will in the dual meet 34 - 9.

Stay tuned for more on today's quad meet later today!

The team looks good for the first outing. Shawver looks good as hopefully Peterson red shirts. Sammy is Sammy and prone to get in trouble with his funk. Looks good at 133. Seabass looks strong and in total control. MVB just wins. Clark getting better. Finishing with Turley, Poz, Bulsack and Boone will win us a bunch of matches.

MVB needed to have mat awareness with 42 seconds of riding time. He was handling the kid from top and does that crazy over the top maneuver to give up the escape. Just rack up that riding time first. The risk reward at that moment wasn’t worth it. Glad he pulled out the win and it was nice to see offense at the end.
