Rutgers is ranked 74th....NET is the NCAA'S ranking of teams daily, based on results so far this year.

Ohio State is #1, Duke is 6th, At Johns 29th, Miami 63rd, Kentucky 61st, Seton Hall 85th.

I would not put to much into this but given how these rankings are far different than the tradition of Top 20 or 25 ranking with AP or USA Today.

Why don't you have faith?

If it is anything like the RPI, Not enough data to really make the formula meaningful yet

The rpi starts to show confrence strengths by mid December ...and then the teams start flushing out a bit more and is meaningful by late January

I thought he was dismissing the whole thing because of Rutgers being ranked so high, but get what you are saying.

I haven't read how playing Miami, Michigan State and Wisconsin would impact the overall rankings, since all are Top 40 type programs right now. Does it solidify the top 80 ranking because we have played 4 good teams by this time next week,1 OK team in Eastern Michigan and 2 teams not expected to do well in FDU and Drexel??

I know the margin of defeat is critical for a road team, staying within 10 in one or both of these next 2 road games, might be the sign I'm looking for. I would imagine Vegas spreads aren't factored in here, but they are in some ways a good indicator of what the general public believes a program is right now. I would think RU is getting 10 or more points in both road games at Miami and Wisconsin.

2 seasons ago Rutgers beat Ohio State in the B1G Torney and got their legendary coach fired. Now they’re #1. We’re moving up as well, don’t see OSU as a top 5 team though.
