OT: 2023 NCAA Bowl Games Thread 12/16-1/1

Utah-NW tied at 0-0 in latter part of 2nd quarter with NW having a couple head scratching calls on short yardage plays.
After a 1/2 yd run to set up 4th and goal from 1/2 yard line, NW uses play action pass that fools nobody and QB basically throws it away.
On following drive with 3rd and 1/2 yd at Utah 40, NW tries an even worse pass play where QB again basically throws it away. They then punt on 4th and 1/2 to go.
Why not just once try a d**n QB push play with two plays and 1/2 yard to go.

Well, if you ask on here, some will say they were one of the worst when we played them(how could they not be we scored 24 pts.), but now they're one of the Top 10 in the nation.
There is no question that we caught Northwestern at the right time.
and Michigan St and Virginia Tech actually, the only real wins we had were Wagner, Temple and Indiana.
No, we had six real wins. The fact that we caught a team at the right time, does not make our win over that team any less real.
I agree with you, but we have seen the mental gymnastics of some of our fans to denigrate our wins and season but they will prop up Colorado. 🤷♂️
Will never understand how a QB not under pressure can sail a pass in the flat so far over the receivers head. Hilinski in for Bryant.
