OT: NCAA College Football Bowl Season Games (CFP not included) 12/17-1/4

No chatter on earlier games, UNC losing to UConn and Nebraska wins a close one with BC? Maybe missed it. Traveling and en route to airport
UConn Football despite everyone expecting it to go away, has keept on going and Jim Mora Jr is ding a fine job keeping the doggies going.
No I don't want him to replace Schiano, Greg is where he should be and in a place Mora would have a hard time duplicating what he has in Connecticut and ( in my opinion) most established and up and coming coaches look at Rutgers more as a career killer than an opportunity.

Saw the first half of the Miami-ISU game and it was like touch football, lol. Went for a nice dinner (Irving Inn Social in Rahway if curious - love that place) and just caught the end of the game, surprised that there was much less scoring. Nice to see UM lose again.

Kind of weird that Ward played but didn’t play the 2nd half. Willing to take the risk for one half but not two lol.

It was a good game and fun ending but can’t take these things too seriously when you have things like that happen. You can’t even assume a guy who starts the game will want to finish it lol.

Mario is a Greg disciple.

Miami did not play cam ward in the second half. They chose to protect him from injury for the draft. Thus, Miami’s offense kind of went into stall mode. Had he played the whole game they probably would have won.

Not really weird they wanted him to set the TD record, which he did, after that nothing to prove

Yea I got that but if you’re gonna play might as well finish it off. He set the record early in the first half but he didn’t go out then but later at halftime.

I thought Cam might come in at the end of game after ISU scored and went ahead by one .
But can see why he wasn't put in , the risk of injury in a situation like that and ISU going after him all out would make him getting hit more likely then the way they would defend against Williams where ISU didn't send as many to pressure him as they would have sent if Cam was there .
At least that's the way I see it

Yankee Stadium is no place for a Bowl game.
i agree that it stinks but having watched today I think it may be better than Fenway. Teams on the same side of the field, turf looked worse the Yankees stadium.

Lol miami and the ACC suck, they would have lost with Cam. They could barely beat their dreadful conference mates with him.

Haven’t watched the BYU Colorado game but see the score is 20-0 BYU….Sanders and Hunter making a big difference lol.
