OT: NCAA College Football Games thread 11/14-11/18 Tues-Sat

A bunch of close 1 score games tonight

ISU still in it..down. 23-16

UF gets the ball back down 2 with 4 min and change left

UF in FG range now with 2:30 left in the game down 2…Brown with a 27yd run…Mizzou has 3 timeouts and used one

Oregon St around their 40 with 3 min and change left…down 2

No surprise but the Travis injury could still hurt their chances at a playoff spot even if undefeated. Depends on what happens in the last couple weeks and the conf champ games.

KSU up 16-13 on Kansas
Schrader 41yd TD rush for Mizzou 10-7
Awful injury
Feel bad for J Trav
Great kid - one of the GOAT FSU QB’s
Onto UF & Ville w Tate
He’ll have to pull a 98 Rooster to beat the turds in Hogtown

Mertz might be out for the FSU game, went out in this Mizzou game with shoulder injury

UW looks like it’s on the verge of closing it out and surviving

UF getting ready to kick the go ahead FG

UW converts with Penix arm and that’s it

UF makes a 35yd FG to go up 31-30 with 1:36 left and one timeout left for Mizzou

Texas up 26-16 on ISU

Oh wow Mizzou converts the 4th and long and now in FG range..which is still a long FG lol

Now a more makeable FG at around 47yds as opposed to high 50s lol…Mizzou kicker suppose have strong leg

The story of their RB who was D2 transfer and leading the SEC in rushing is just as spectacular.

Looked it up and Cook was a 3 star.

That’s why I never complain about recruiting be it Flood, Ash, GS because they get who they get and have to make it work with what they get. Good players and contributors can come from anywhere.

This is why I support a 12 team playoff because then more teams like Mizzou have something meaningful to play for at the end of the year. They’re the team who’ve given UGA somewhat of a fight this year.. of course Alabama is still on tap in the SEC champ game.

Depending how these next two weeks go there could be a mess vying for those 4 slots. Some CGD guys would leave an undefeated FSU out in some scenarios vs certain 1 loss teams and that was before the Travis injury. Travis going out doesn’t help because injuries are taken into account by the committee.

In the future, all of them and the Mizzous of the world could get in and have their chance to play for it on the field.

It's paywall but for the comments. Have posted similar stuff on Schrader in the past.

Nice to see a year where it’s not a forgone conclusion.

Have mentioned it before, and can't put my figure on it, but Lincoln Riley is easy to root against, and IMO he deserves all the heat and misery he receives.

The LA Times article is weird.
Facetious, but they suggest calling Clay Helto, who is not exactly lighting it up at Georgia Southern.

And this: "Riley has basically ruined Williams’ encore season with a terrible defense, an underutilized running attack,"
USC has 28 rushing attempts/game (versus north of 40 for the leaders of the PAC12) and 36 passing attempts per game.

Gotta love it though as an FSU fan.
Def good stats
Game Saturday in Hogtown will be a war
Was already going to be tough w the rivalry, night game & them fighting for a bowl
Now it gets dicey without J Trav, but they’re missing their guy too
Should be a good one
