Yup - I'm not blaming Fitz for that one. Just liked his game and fit with this team is all.
Yeah the guy that put up a whopping 30 points last season and played in 3 of 12 playoff games. Who also needed a new contract and didn’t have a spot at 3 mill . Scraps

Jack and Bratt were on fire all week, droopy eye breaks em up after 25 minutes, for lines that obviously showed no cohesion.

Not good, considering they play the most in the league. This is a young team that should not have problems maintaining their legs. 6 points now given away to CBJ, SJ and ANA in the last 3 weeks AT HOME, where the nightly sellout crowds have been treated to 6 wins in 14 games.

I would think there is better leadership in the room than to continually fall flat at home against worse teams on paper.
This is for certain, Akira Schmid cannot play two nights in a row.
I literally dropped Timo from my fantasy team and stopped playing Akira as well. Since then my team is doing well. Timo's +/- was killing me.
I'd argue that because we aren't in a playoff spot, we've given away 12 points, because the teams we're chasing aren't going to drop these games at home.
Lindy Ruff is such a dingus, He got carried by Hasek, Beiere, and Drury in Buffalo. Shit the bed in Dallas with a roster that went deep in the playoffs after they canned his ass, and last year was carried by Jack. Don't forget being run out of NY in between Dallas and NJ. The Rag defenses he oversaw were historically bad and he was incapable of stabilizing any pairings. The suits were dancing down 34th street when NJ brought him on to lead their young group.

Why in the world is this guy separating Hughes and Bratt right now? Palat getting 1st line minutes? That 3rd line hasn't worked all year. Smith comes in for Miller? I'd sit Siegenthaler before any of them if he MUST bring Smith in.

Yes Timo has been down after the injury, but the move should be to sit Bastian for Smith, not Timo. Nate has had a down year compared to last year.

One point, it should have been two, but the officials got the outcome they wanted. At least they didn't score on the bogus hooking on Bahl. I think if Courtier ( sp ) got taken down like Jack Hughes in OT the call would have been made.
This game was over as soon as the lineup came out. Jack cost us the game, but Smith cost us a point by being an absolute idiot on the 2nd goal
