I tend to agree but by the end of his term, Flood had a depleted roster since he couldn't recruit.Flood was better than Ash.

Running for Middlesex city council. Just drove through there and saw her signs. For some reason I assumed she and family moved to Atlanta/Tuscaloosa with Kyle, but I guess they stayed and he comes home...in the offseason? Is there really ever an offseason? Being married to a coach isn't easy in more ways than one.
To be honest, all the schools should just have the kids repeat the year. The grading (even for high school and colleges) is a joke. These kids are not learning. All my neighbors with grade school kids agree. I feel bad for all the working parents with little ones in school.
Should you point yourself out to the mod that it’s politics and should be moved to CE. Com’on man!!Virtual schooling in NJ is not working out so well, kids getting cheated
So continue the school experience where they pass everyone regardless of ability. I'm scared for the future of this country. To be honest, they definitely shouldn't.
You should vote.So continue the school experience where they pass everyone regardless of ability. I'm scared for the future of this country.
Unfortunately I already voted and the ballot scared the hell out of me. 😀You should vote.
I had to cheat off my wife to make sure I got it right.Unfortunately I already voted and the ballot scared the hell out of me. 😀

So.. basically.. YOU are the teacher of all subjects and the paid teachers are just clerks distributing material and then grading them?I have a couple opinions on that. My niece was sent to us 3 weeks ago by her frustrated single mother who is a nurse and her 12 y/o daughter would do anything possible to not do her school work. Failing each virtual class with her best grade being a 55. Even had what was a .08 in Math(which I thought sucked bad enough but knew a couple of good grades could at least get her to a 2.0 fairly quickly)- joke on me... .08 was out of a 100 score
she was missing 21 assignments and quizzes. Keep in mind at that point, she had maybe 23 school days.
Well, we have been pushing her and I set her desk next to mine in my home office. I helped her get through all of her missing assignments and how to email teachers if she has a question or if there is an assignment she did but still appears to be missing.
3 weeks later- lowest grade is now up to a 68...All others are over 85.
But I have noticed, teachers will give them class work and then just give the answers without explanation. I see assignments where the examples they give them are actually incorrect. My niece learns more from me going over homework with her than what she learns from teachers.
On the other hand- if she was in school- I don't believe she would be doing as well because I would not be there to monitor what she is doing or to make sure she is actually paying attention.
Her teachers seem very lazy to me

My neighbor cheated on his wife to make sure he got it right.I had to cheat off my wife to make sure I got it right.
Her goal is to go 1-0 on Election Day.
Will she meet her political opponents in the Dunellen library?
In both Vietnam and Thailand kids are back in school full time with some extra spacing and plastic between desks.
KIds are fine with this.

Step out of yours and educate yourself.Parents need to step up and make sure their kids are learning. Which is actually a good lesson for a regular year.
Understand that about an hour ago, I received a statewide emergency alert about record cases and hospitals being near capacity. Those cases have been on rapid rise since they opened schools in mid-Aug and have now sent things back to scary March levels ...before the expected worst hits in winter.
Parents should stop complaining and step outside their bubble because opening schools like normal isn't a great alternative.
Maybe it is working for some high school kids. As you said your son goes to a high achieving school. I feel bad for your son at RU because he is not getting the experience you and I received. My nephew is a senior at RU and he’s very disappointed with the experience. My comments are based on parents in my neighborhood (most have kids in 1-6) that say the kids are not learning and the classes are a joke. My town is doing a hybrid. As another poster said the parents need to step up. However it’s not easy when most of my neighbors are essential employees and need to be at their hospitals / jobs. So glad my kids are out of college and had great experiences.Based on what?
My sons (sophomore at RU, computer science) and senior in magnet HS are learning just fine.
We all have different experiences and perspectives. I have always been a take the hand you are dealt and make the best of it kind of person, and we have talked about that quite a bit in our house. My younger son, who is a senior in high school, is not particularly pleased with the hybrid learning environment and only being in school 2 days per week. He misses his friends quite a bit. But the learning aspect has not been terrible, but admittedly, not as good as in person. For him, it really sucks to have had the latter half of his junior year of high school and senior year of high school and all that comes with it taken from him.Maybe it is working for some high school kids. Most of our current players are Ash recruits, they seem to be doing just fine with some good coaching. We have talent on this teamThat's quite an arguable statement. Classes ranked 78, 43, 58 that's bottom of the barrel for P5.
2012 had a great defense and they played like a good defense. The offense did really suck though. To try to play fast and loose at that time would have lost us more games. Not disputing he’s a good guy or member of the middlesex community , I don’t care . I am sure there are lot of good guys in middlesex . He did not play fast and loose in 2012 when he squandered the most talented defense we ever had . I didn’t mind he was willing to break rules in order to win (barnwell) .
But I said it in February 2012 and many times since : Flood is a Dud! .
How is anyone still asking this question?Did we ever get a reliable answer as to why Schiano didn't bring him to Tampa?

What do you mean by "near capacity"? You don't know what you mean because you are willing to be spoon fed ignorance.
Are ICUs at near capacity? What is capacity? You know capacity for various units can be changed to fit the needs of the hospital?
Hospitals usually like to operate at around 85% capacity. That seems pretty "near capacity".
Next time you want to sound smart, forget it. You can't.
Oh and there is not a single documented case in the whole wide world of a student transmitting the disease to a teacher.
Go find a non-football board to lecture people about stepping out of their bubble. You probably haven't left NJ in decades.
I was ok with the team running all over flood . But his duds also lets the opponents run all over them . That’s what wasn’t acceptable2012 had a great defense and they played like a good defense. All HC's break the rules. The rules Flood broke were so damn minor compared to almost every other school in the nation. His problem is that he allowed himself to be a pawn and that he ended up just not caring and the team ran all over him

Eldest Son- question, with today’s employment environment, what field is he thinking he wouldn’t need a degree for?We all have different experiences and perspectives. As far as my older son at Rutgers, we had a good talk about this. Computer Science can be taught remotely. He is a very high achiever, and he felt that for what he wants to do in life, he does not need the degree and the courses, but he enjoys learning theory, so he is good. We told him that we would pay for him to stay in the Heldrich, or if he wanted to get an off campus apartment with his friends, and he declined. He also pointed out that a lot of kids staying off campus are getting sick because they keep going to parties.
While not ideal, the kids are making lemons out of lemonade. However, for kids who need more attention and have learning issues, I can imagine remote learning is not good.

Lmao. I'm not in NJ, you ignorant white trash #!$@.
Quit being a lazy, whiny btch and help your kid learn.
Enjoy the game.
plus an all around good person. I think that's it:)I think besides being a good game day coach, Flood was also good with the media. That's it. That's all I have. 😀
I teach them not to believe and spread panic porn from a state you apparently don't even live in. You're a special kind of creepy.Lmao. I'm not in NJ, you ignorant white trash #!$@.

It wouldn't be worth reading since I already know the type of comments that would be made by many. Also, if we can have a thread about a political race, maybe we could have one on the election - just for a day...
Despite some football related issues the Floods are a wonderful family who were very charitable with their time and we're outstanding members of the community. And yes, til Greg 2.0 proves me wrong, Flood is the BEST game day coach in my lifetime at Rutgers. Players loved him, he believed in them and took chances on 4th down, and they played fast and loose. His first year w
Flood was like the cool uncle to Schiano’s strict dad, which is why the players, past and present, loved him. Problem was that the cool uncle isn’t the best guy to run a program, especially at Rutgers. Program wise, he was too laid back. Recruiting wise he was the set up man when he needed to be a closer. Good assistant, which is fine, you can still make a heck of good living, but only a special few are ready to be a head coach. That's pretty funny.
Never came across as the sharpest, and one who (perhaps because didnt have the skill set) tamped down enthusiasm in a huge way-even when we were joining the B10.
