26 for 143 and growing. Last in MLB. The Mets started the night with a 187 average with RISP. As it stands through three innings, it's a 181 average now.
I say have all the pitchers hit since they have a higher batting average than the regulars. They need to take this team apart before these guys loose any more trade value.
I wonder if Chili only works with the position players and leaves the pitchers alone.I say have all the pitchers hit since they have a higher batting average than the regulars.
team BA with RISP is .1750-9 RISP
Little league sh*tJust turned on game and checked this thread. Did McCann really give up a two run passed ball? I cannot comprehend how that is even possible.
We are talking Rojas here. He's known for dumb sh*t.Stroman out with 0 earned runs and 64 pitches. I’m assuming he’s injured.
That would be the dumbest of all.We are talking Rojas here. He's known for dumb sh*t.
With the Wilpons, you expect this type of performance, and they deliver. No false hope there like this current leadership. If they don’t fire Chilli Davis and Rojas tonight, then I want Wilpons back as owners.
Rojas doesn’t know what planet he’s on.Someone needs to clear this up. The Phillies' runner slid late to take out Lindor. I thought that MLB wanted to clean that up. Could the Mets have challenged that play to get the double play?
I am telling you guys. This is a heartless, gutless team with no leaders and they don’t fight to win. The same story since 2015. The parts are worth much more than the whole team. We could get so much by trading everyone away. Rebuild and be ready in a few years. No guts. I would have punched that POS pitcher for trying to show us up. What a sh*t move. Make the strikeout then walk off the field. Two bonehead moves
Bunch of Wussies. Phillies with about half their team made asses out of them tonight. Alvarado called out Smith and he just stared at him. Lindor just runs around smiling like a grinning idiot. No balls.I am telling you guys. This is a heartless, gutless team with no leaders and they don’t fight to win. The same story since 2015. The parts are worth much more than the whole team. If you believe the reports, Cohen latched on to Sandy because he thought (correctly IMO) that Sandy would provide credibility with the old boys network of owners, which he wished to join. In two ways:Sandy never should have been brought back in the first place and I thought he did a very good job the first time around.
Like Dom pointed out in his post game comments fat ass didn't act like he really wanted to do anything until his teammates got in front of him. And sure Dom just stared at him at first. He was just walking away and was caught off guard by the dude mouthing off over something from more than 2 weeks ago. But we'll see him again. Plenty in fact.Bunch of Wussies. Phillies with about half their team made asses out of them tonight. Alvarado called out Smith and he just stared at him. Lindor just runs around smiling like a grinning idiot. No balls.
The problem with firing guys after 20 games is that you have to replace them with somebody. You wanna fire Chili Davis and promote his assistant, Tom Slater? You can I guess, but I'm not sure what that accomplishes. You're not hiring anyone else worth hiring. Those guys all have jobs.
That said, Rojas may have to fire Davis just to send a message. A message to whom? To the team? Or to Cohen and Alderson, to tell them that he has fixed the problem and everything is under control? I think it would primarily be the latter.
