Goofy Rojas brings in Loopy Loup for the 8th inning.
The Mets have Goofy Rojas, Quacky trainers, and a few keystone cops in the bullpen. Did I leave anyone out?

Tico's grandaughters must really be driving him nuts! Quoted Worm, me, and himself with the same explanation!! 😜

Right flexor tendonitis for deGrom.
What he said 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼

Gary and Keith says that it’s “concerning.”

BTW, My Goobers’ mother got home so they’re driving her nuts lol. 😂

If deGrom is hurt for extended period of time this season is done with. It was fun while it lasted.

I don't trust the medical staff or Rojas. deGrom needs to go and get a second opinion like Nimmo.

Put it in the books!!

Will be nervous until we see how bad this deGrom injury is though.

You guys worry about deGrom. I'm going to worry about this piss poor training staff. How many more of the Mets are they going to hurt?

Excellent win, but I fear this may be a Pyrrhic victory.
Very hollow win for me with Degrom injury . On Post game Degrom said he’s not overly concerned with injury discomfort and he had it between starts. He thinks he can be back in 5 days but you have to be cautious with him as wel as very damn concerned.

If I were Sandy, I’m calling teams like the twins; pirates and seeing whether they want to dump starters like happ ; chad Kuhl etc and similar type of pitchers with teams languishing. Need SP depth

I dare someone try to defend Rojas. 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬
I remember reading someone saying the manager has little impact on the game...BULLSH*T.
deGrom 6 innings, 80 pitches, 10 Ks. Instead of staying with deGrom, Rojas, like clockwork, goes to an overworked bullpen.
Maybe you guys might try waiting until the story comes out and then you want look so stupid once it does.

Channeling my inner Joe Benigno: "You knew...YOU KNEW...deGrom was going to go down with some sort of injury, with the year he was having..."

Do we have anyone to trade? If anybody was good they would be up.
The Athletic ran a story a while ago about the most likely trade candidate on each of the 30 teams. Their Mets selection shocked me. It was #2 prospect Ronny Mauricio.

Their explanation made some sense. Mets are wedded to Lindor at SS for the next 10 years. One would have thought that they would have handed Mauricio an outfielder's glove and pointed him toward center field. They didn't. Why not? Because they want to build up his trade value at SS, a premium position.

I doubt Mauricio's going anywhere. But if the Mets don't move him off SS by next spring, I won't be so sure.
