The reason the Mets thread has 7 x the posts isn't because of Stank-ees fans. Here we love to talk about the Mets during good and bad streaks regardless. The Dead Zone goes in shut down mode when things are going bad. Remember a mere 40 days ago, The 3 Amigos were predicting a 120 win season, lmfao, too funny. PS. Love the fact trolls, TKpuss and Proud of Nothing have tried to bring the bad karma from The Dead Zone wishes Mets opponents good luck and a glad hand as their team rides the baloney pony. Yeah, the Mets got Richie Hebner, not Zisk, from the Pirates, and Hebner made it clear that he didn’t like NY. As a kid, I was at a game and saw the sign guy get on Hebner even after he hit a double: “Yer Still A Bum”

According to the MLB pipeline scouting report, Baty PROJECTS (key word) as an average fielder with a plus arm.
Adapting to the speed of the MLB game may take some short term adjustment.
I like Baty and believe his future is bright; but he needs work defensively. While he is up he starts but we need Esocbar back to play late inning D. Escobar has not hit as expected but his D has been very good.
Jose Butto to make his debut today. Hopefully he doesn't stink and drop a turd and instead gives the Phillies a good old blasting.
He and 1st base coach Kirby could start on the left side of the O-line.
Baty will be fine and a terrific hitter down the road- but for the playoff push etc - we need the vets - Escobar and Guillome

Feeling guilty because you haven't learned the pronunciation and spelling of Rob Z's name? Not to worry. The Mets optioned him, DFA'd Clay, and put Nogosek on the IL. They activated Butto and someone named Nate Fisher.
I follow Mets minors, but I guess not closely enough, as I have no idea who Nate Fisher is.
Also, Mets returned Peterson to Syracuse. He was up yesterday as 27th man.
