We won a game with a player Who arguably is 10th on the starting pitching depth chart. We have a pitcher throw three scoreless innings who was recently out of baseball for over a year.
Biggest win of year in my book. From looking like 2 game lead to 4. Yippee!
Without question it's Canha. Other guys played big role's but Canha was the big fish tonight.
I do hope that Fisher is not rewarded with a handshake and a plane ticket back to Syracuse. It is possible. At least I don't think he'll be DFA'd.
Ok- big 2 games coming up. Phil’s and Braves get breathers with Cindy and Pitt and we get the team with the 4th best record, who was recently dubbed the best single season team in baseball history…
There was nothing lucky about todays win.
I didnt even see any of the game from the rain delay because I went out and only returned in the bottom of the 9th. And im still exhausted from this one.

This has to be one of the most accurate posts ever. That cartoon about the twin towers and anti Mets has to be one of the lowest class things I've ever seen on here.

Yeah, I saw that Wheeler interview, and it was weak sauce. He's a likable guy, and he was not as whiny as Strider. But the Braves complain the Mets don't have HR power and score on soft contact. That's small ball.
On the Phillies' postgame, their in-studio personnel asked whether Robert should plunk the next hitter after Canha's HR.
If that’s the case, those Philly nimrods better not say a thing when Juan Segura gets plunked for this (he shouldn’t IMO but they started that crap)
Vientos was just on fire this week. He has some bat and his numbers after April are even better. Not sure what we're doing with him. He should have been up months ago.
I also added Josh Walker in the notables. He is fringe top 30 and might get a look in the pen soon. Possibly our LHP for next year or maybe even this year.
