I will definitely disagree with that. No one deserves to get hit in the head with a 97 mph fastball because someone had their feelings hurt. Or maybe you don't remember what happened to Piazza? Or going way back Tony Conigliaro.

I don't think anyone should be hit in the head- I think we all used sayings that mean the simple knock their asses down. As a Met's fan, I have seen way too many HBP that shouldnt have happened. So, no, no one should ever get hit in the head on purpose and even when we say throw it at his head- we really mean- knock his ass down.

Local blackout does not apply to this series. However, the Yankees have sold a.few.of their games to Amazon Prime, tomorrow night being one. It will be on SNY but not YES.

I get MLB, not SNY- and if it is a Met's game, I always get the blackout. I usually only get t see a mets game when on ESPN or Apple

How what Butto wronged in any way? He was brought up to pitch one game. Then they optioned him back. He is still on the 40 man. He is in the same position he was on Saturday, plus an MLB paycheck for one day.

If anyone was wronged it was Fisher. But not really. He was DFA'd, not released. If he clears waivers, Mets will no doubt re-sign him to a Syracuse contract and he'll be no worse than before. Actually better, since he'll have made a positive impression. If he is claimed, then he'll be on somebody's 40 man and be better off than before.

According to Buck, they moved deGrom back because they wanted to split up Scherzer and deGrom. I am certain that the Mets have mocked up different rotations through the end of the season. Maybe by pushing deGrom back, he is better aligned for the final series in Atlanta.

I personally do not care if deGrom pitches against the Yankees or not. To me it's just another game outside the division.

And no, we don't know that the Braves will sweep the Pirates. They play the games for a reason.
