OT: Official 2022 NY Mets Season And Post Season Thread

Braves seem to get every bit of luck going their way- but our boys are playing like champs right now- I have nothing negative I can say about our team or season at this point.
12 games left for us and 14 for the Braves-
Very realistic we go 8-4 to finish with 103 wins. Braves would have to go 10-4 to tie us and if we just win even 1 against them in the next series- that wouldnt be good enough for them. So- they would either need to go 11-3 over the final 14 or sweep us and go 12-4
IF- we do our part and get that 8-4
We go 9-3 and their task is monumental

As someone once sang it's all coming back to me now. It was a very exciting series.

I remember that game 6. That was ball 5 from Kenny Rogers to end the series, as the ump gave him a break and called a strike on the previous pitch, which was clearly a ball.

By the way, those who think that the umps are worse now, there are a couple of absurd outside strikes called on this video that the much better umps of today would never call.

Might be an instance where he would definitely be out if:

A. It wasn't such a big game
B. We had anyone else. But with Nimmo and Marte already out we simply don't.
