At game. Odd atmosphere. Crowd not really into it, at least not yet. My section seems more concerned with Ranger game.
Met crowds are rather quiet until later innings. I think Fan base can be rather bourgeois and too laid back. Can’t blame fans for being more into rangers. I certainly am during the nhl playoffs. Besides March madness, round 1 of NHL playoffs are awesome. LGM !At game. Odd atmosphere. Crowd not really into it, at least not yet. My section seems more concerned with Ranger game.
He's far from alone. Not much impressive about the offense lately. Against some mediocre pitching too.Escobar in MAJOR funk
I think you have more posts in the Yankees thread than any one Yankee fan and almost zero reply's. They don't care what a Mets fan thinks over there, just saying.🤐not for nothing- look at the other team, so happy to get rid of Sanchez and how they currently feel about their very productive catchers on offense. Even though they lead the majors in pitching....
Though, if my posts are read, they are not written like a Met's fan. I actually try to engage and at times, even just ask some questions. Never trolling, I just like talking baseballI think you have more posts in the Yankees thread than any one Yankee fan and almost zero reply's. My father once said you don't engage idiots in a debate because from a distance, people can't tell who is who. 🤣Though, if my posts are read, they are not written like a Met's fan. I actually try to engage and at times, even just ask some questions. Never trolling, I just like talking baseball
I don't debate with them over there. My father once said you don't engage idiots in a debate because from a distance, people can't tell who is who. 🤣
Love my Mets but it doesn’t take much effort or take away from my team to talk to fans of other teams. Kind of strange to only talk about your own team.I couldnt care any less whats in the Yankees thread or about exchanging banter with them. All i know is that we need to conjure up some consistent offense.
When you find yourself surrounded by Mets haters, it happens.Love my Mets but it doesn’t take much effort or take away from my team to talk to fans of other teams. Kind of strange to only talk about your own team.
HUGE different in talking great baseball with fans of other teams and idiots trolling other teams fans and talking crap unprovoked and with the blessing from above like in the past few years.Love my Mets but it doesn’t take much effort or take away from my team to talk to fans of other teams. I’m lost…this is like serious crazy talk. Ummm, I think lolHUGE different in talking great baseball with fans of other teams and idiots trolling other teams fans and talking crap unprovoked and with the blessing from above like in the past few years.
And now apparently it’s a bad thing here to mind your business and avoid the drivel from zealots as a main reason that you ONLY want talk about your own team on your own thread.
Bassitt wasn't the problem. Mazieka was put in a tough situation calling a game with a pitcher who he has little chemistry with outside of a few time from spring training. Hell, why did Mazieka have Shreve throw like 8 straight fastballs when that's a secondary pitch? Shreve got burned with a 3 run homer on a fastball. After that, Shreve threw mostly slider/sinker which is his money pitch. Suddenly, Seattle hitters couldn't touch him. Mazieka was too focused on the scouting report instead of feeling out the pitcher's strengths of that day.Zeke won the game and Bassitt is a head case.
Didn’t see last nights game but. Didn’t he try to start something up first week of the season saying that a player acting like an ass on the field when he wasn’t? Lindor? Lugo? 🤷🏻♂️Like I'm not hating on Gary Cohn but he brings up some dumbass shit during the broadcast...can't put a finger on it but there will be 1 or 2 things that he says that Keith or Ron have no response to cause it's so off the wall. He is a million times better than that jacknut Michael Kay but Gary says stupid shit from time to time.

Mazieka had no choice but to save his *ss and the teams. 🤣
Yes, pitchers can always shake off sign. When I pitched I basically called my own game. Signals from catcher were primarily so he knew what was coming.Shreve can throw whatever he wants.
Their best lineup…and I love McNeil 8th.
Megill to the IL with lat inflammation.
McNeil 8th is so dumb. Your best contact hitter buried.
