Mariners Angels brawl

Don't go into a brawl wearing sunglasses either.

Today at Avon by the Sea. I guess The Clean Water Act really did it's job along the Jersey Shore. Amazing day. LGM!

Per Buck post game:

Scherzer to make another rehab start for Binghamton on Tuesday.

Carrasco is fine and will start Tuesday.

McNeil also expected to start Tuesday. The artificial turf in Miami may have been a factor in holding him out.

Dodgers rally from 2-0 and two outs and nobody on in the 9th to tie it off Braves closer Jansen. Jansen had looked dominant in striking out the first 2 batters he faced.

Have to get there first, a " big if always" for the Mets, but when the October air gets colder and the ball doesn't travel as well, I like the makeup of our offense. Manufacturing runs without the HR more times than not, works better in October. Long way to go, but this team has weathered several major injuries and again "if" Max, deGrom and Megill come back and are ready for a playoff run, watch out. LFGM

See that's the thing about middle relievers. As a rule (there are exceptions) they're not as good as the starters. If they were, they'd be the starters.

Holderman threw 1 scoreless with 2 Ks in a rehab outing. Vientos was tossed. Hit a HR by the pole and the umps reversed it saying it was foul.

Omar de los Santos has 43 steals for St Lucie.

Don't expect on seeing Tylor Megill anytime soon. Mets moved him to the 60 day IL today, retroactive to June 17. So we're looking at mid-August at the earliest.

That was always the case. They were going to re-evaluate in a month when he got hurt. If everything was fine then by the time he ramped up and got some rehab games in it would have been two months.

Maybe he should’ve rested his back for 2 more days 💩💩💩💩👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I wouldn't say that. Cookie struggles against Houston, the "CHEATERS."
You cant kill certain pitchers and then try to give others a pass. Carrasco let the air out of the crowd and probably to a lesser extent the team right out of the gate in the first inning of the first game of a homestand that we need to do well on. Im sorry but giving up 4 runs in the 1st inning where we might well struggle to score that much for the game. ..... thats straight garbage. I know that I was looking forward to these games as a chance to get some payback on this team for what happened in Houston. So to be immediately placed in this kind of hole sucks.

I'm not giving Carrasco a pass. I'm not too fond of Houston because I still think they are cheating.

You can bat 225 with power like Schwarber
maybe an Unlucky 225

Or a terrible 225 with pathetic embarrassing swings. Missing pitches by 2 feet. Swinging at pitches that only go 58-59 feet.

Escobar is bad

1 walk off and a cycle doesn’t mean you get to suck for the other 73 games

Me neither as they remind me of the Braves for some reason. So i wasnt happy at all about getting beat up by them last week and wanted to do the same thing to them at our place. Now I feel like im already relegated to hoping the Braves lose to Phiily rather than enjoying the game.

i just cant get past how crappy the batting order is today. 3 slumping players behind alonso in a big game. Mcneil should be higher in the order. Instead he gets to hit ahead of awful mccann. He might as well had been given a 6th day off.

Does anyone think Escobar plays too deep at 3rd?

Is Buck giving up on the game by bringing Shreve?

Why is McNeil batting behind Escobar and DJ? Leaving a lot of ducks on the pond.
