I'm very confident that you prided yourself of never posting on the Yankees thread. So you got spanked by Richie on the Mets thread so now you post over here. What a clown.
Can we flag your post so the timeline will be accurate? I never mentioned your name or even "liked" a negative comment that always gets your panties in a bunch, yet here you are attacking me, not what I said. Reread what Richie posted Ace. That was needed to be said because within minutes of the Mets loss a couple of douche bag Yankees fans were in busting. Not a problem as all is far with the busting of balls, except they have no balls, and haven't been seen in your thread since Cleveland tied then took a lead. I'm betting we'll see them in that thread and the Mets thread within minutes if the Varsity closes out the 8th grade lowest payroll team in baseball. it would an epic failure the sport has EVER seen.

Richard "Richie" Schnyderite

I'm posting here because I have waited all year and can't believe how little yankee fans talk when losing yet spent all last week in our thread. Where do you come up with your bull$hit about getting spanked, lmfao. I could post the next 20 in this thread and still not reach what "superfan01inhiding" and "kbeenotaround" did in the Mets thread last week, too friggin funny. Please don't lose to the lowest payroll in baseball, I'll probably be ban for years after I unload, 😁PS. Did you even bother to look at the fact I posted in the Mets thread around 5:30 pm today? What spanking? You really need some kind of women companionship. Tell her about your Rutgers football career and how you went on the golf tour with Jack and Arnie. See, I can makeup stories also Ace.

In the past I’ve pointed out some less than stellar results for Cole’s teams from his starts in do or die playoff games, so think it is only fair to stop in to give him credit for 2 good performances (so far) in this year’s playoffs.

And yet the Royals have been the the World Series and beat the Mets 6 years more recent than the Yankees last visit to the Fall Classic, your point?
There is that but...Clev is really the only team with a chance to make it to the WS that is not in the upper tier of spenders.

What the F was nailer doing on his HR trot?
Someone posted (maybe on Twitter?) that the Yanks should retaliate by having Donaldson doing the same exagerated hand motions on the base paths next time he gets thrown out at second.

My point is that any team can catch lightning in a bottle and have one great season. But if you want extended stretches of making the playoffs and being a contender, you have to be one of the teams with an enormous payroll. That's why the Yankees, Dodgers, and Red Sox make the playoffs 90% of the time and the Royals and Pirates do not. An enormous payroll, alone, is not enough to make the playoffs consistently (you still have to make wise spending decisions - look at the Angels) ... but you can't do it without one.

He calls that "rocking the baby" and calls all of the pitchers he homers against "son". That's what one of the other Guardian players said to the media afterwards. It was a bit much. I'm more of a fan of the slow trot around the bases after a big homer kind of guy.

All good points, I agree.

So, do the Yankees stick with Taillon or take advantage of the extra day's rest for Nestor ?

Will be played @ 4P tomorrow according to the espn crawl.

Gone are the days when next time up he'd be guaranteed a little chin music. Shame Cole couldn't retaliate after that freak show.

The real question for you guys is if Cleveland throws Bieber tomorrow

It would be the biggest payroll gap in baseball playoff history,if Cleveland closes it out, just saying. https://sports.betmgm.com/en/blog/mlb-highest-payrolls-2021/

Just saying you're an a-hole. From a guy who prided himself of "never posting in the Yankees thread" to now you are hooked on it like crack! Who cares about the payroll difference? Did you read the first part of the article?? And can you actually use a accurate list??? Cleveland payroll is not $29 million, its $66 million. 🤣🤣🤣 you still don't do your homework and embarrassed again!! What a dumbass. You are also blind to the fact that your Mets with the highest payroll to start the year, blew a 10.5 game lead, fell apart in the last week against Atlanta couldn't win the Wild Card series getting all 3 games at home. Your so called dominating National League lost the top two payrolls and highest win teams so far. The NLCS will for the first time will not have a 90 game winner.

You don’t get that he is only prodding because of you and your buddies taking over the Mets off season thread…
It had been discussed that active season/ post season are sort of fair game but once the off season starts- trolling is off limits…thus- the Richie warning in that thread.

Why are you using 2021 Payroll information? In fact, why would Mets fans even talk about Yankee payroll at this point when the Mets are now at the highest? Here is the list of MLB Top Payrolls (above the MLB Average) for 2022. A better argument would be that the biggest waste of payroll money was the teams that did not even make it.

1 New York Mets - $282,709,066 (OUT in Wildcard round)
2 Los Angeles Dodgers - $275,629,360 (OUT in Division round)
3 New York Yankees - $264,934,200 (Division Round - TBD)
4 Philadelphia Phillies - $255,054,497 (Advanced to NLCS)
5 San Diego Padres - $237,684,494 (Advanced to NLCS)
6 Boston Red Sox - $223,176,946 (Did not make playoffs)
7 Chicago White Sox - $208,313,226 (Did not make playoffs)
8 Atlanta Braves - $200,067,952 (OUT in Division round)
9 Houston Astros - $192,931,925 (Advanced to ALCS)
10 Los Angeles Angels - $192,890,060 (Did not make playoffs)
11 Toronto Blue Jays - $188,895,270 (OUT in Wildcard round)
12 St. Louis Cardinals - $170,122,625 (OUT in Wildcard round)
13 San Francisco Giants - $168,161,466 (Did not make playoffs)
14 Chicago Cubs - $166,068,737 (Did not make playoffs)

It just shows you how stupid he is. And lazy! Right at the top of the article he posted it says March 8th. Two days before the end of the lockout. So no free agents or arbitration players are in that list. He says he is a Mets fan but he is just a troll and a Yankee hater.

This is the correct numbers but keep in mind that Mets are still paying 20+ on Cano who they rightfully cut.
I believe if you look at the active 26- Dodgers lead. Mets/Yanks still up there but not leading.

but I also find no shame in spending money. I would be more embarrassed as a fan if my team sucked and had bottom 5 payroll
