OK, the EPIC FAIL is when you finish one game from going to the World Series in 2017, then go out and add the NL MVP and premium HR hitter in all of baseball, and don't make it to the 2018 World Series. They are NOT playing better than expected,when your the favorite to win it all. There isn't a Yankee fan on the planet that didn't think the Yankees were a guarantee to make the WS after signing Stanton. Hence, I believe the EPIC FAIL is coming,that is all.

That is just so much nonsense. Perhaps it's because you're a Mets fan and thus not very familiar with playoff baseball that you're struggling with this isssue.
The Astros are the defending champs. They still have Verlander. And Correa. And Altuve. And Morton. And easily the best rotation in MLB.
.The Bosux are gonna be tough to beat in the playoffs as well,
I enjoy every game the Yankees win and every game the Mets lose. So it's a great season for me. Ad the future looks even better.
Another World Series win would be great. But I'm enjoying the ride. And how much young talent the Yankees have. And, of course, how little young talent the Mets have.
Again....just try to stay ahead of the Marlins.

Considering what the Yankees were playing for last night,it was every bit as bad as the Mets loss the other day. Can you say 163 and off to the golf course? I'm thinking they need to rape their farm system of 6 or 7 more talented players to get a post season pitching staff in order.
