OT Savon Huggins

So driving home cross country and stop In Des Moines, Iowa and pick up the Des Moines Register. Half a front page article on Iowa. Half a front page on Iowa State. Kinda cool close rivals. The banner down the side of the paper was about University of Northern Iowa. One of the trio of backs highlighted in the preview was Rutgers transfer, Savon Huggins. Nice little blurb from coach. Have to wish a classy former RU player well. Northern Iowa far tougher than Howard and Norfolk! Also the "R" in Register was very old school Rutgers. Kinda cool and caused me to do a double take.

I'm planning on being in Ames on Saturday night for the UNI - Iowa State game. Looking forward to seeing him play and hope he does well.
