Long time in the making if she lands at a P5 program within 24h of announcement.

I think that was her response to one of her former coaches wishing her luck in her last year and saying, "make it a good one".

She wasn't referring to school choice.

I wonder if she even gave our new coach a chance to talk with her before pulling the lever on that decision.

Just my speculation, but I happen to think her decision is based more on the nightmare of a year she had under Tim. He especially mismanaged her and Liz almost to the point of being cruel. For her own mental health, she may have felt a change of scenery was best under a coach that actually pursued her(since she was getting a new coach either way).

Although the news is saddening, I can't blame her for looking out for her.

Lasha leaving so quickly after the hire only feeds my questions with the new hire. How does she relate with the young players of today? That's why I liked the idea of the Kristi Toliver, Kara Lawson type young coach. Although, I recently read an article about how much the players liked and respected Coquese from her short stay at Univ. of Oklahoma. Looks like she may have to rebuild her image in the eyes of recruits after her ending at PSU.

As has been stated already, she better get some good staff and recruiting support. That will be key. Let's keep hoping for the best!
