Honestly, I'm usually hard on refs, but haven't had an issue with them today. They've had a fairly consistent loose whistle overall... but we've gotten more physical than even that loose whistle. Need to play more in control on defense.

Hayes I think we expected less of (at least at the time of signing). Think he was fine as a 9th man / occasional 3pt spark plug but he’s being asked to do too much

Yeah it was a foul but it was ticky tack. A&M gets away with way more physicality on D. Call it consistently. 25-9 FT differential is suspect
Agreed. But I think we’d be seeing him force up shots less and trust his teammates on the kick-out if anyone other than Ace was actually showing a pulse. Instead he thinks he has to do it all himself
They're mostly playing zone, and we're mostly settling for jumpers. Both sides playing physical defense, but they've been more in control overall.
PJ needs to make a 3 or two to loosen up their d. Made 1 but had some other good looks. Needs to come through
Rebounding gap closed. FG % nearly identical. Right now only difference in this game is fouls. Scoring half their points at the line and 0-7 from 3. This is a winnable game
You’d think long time posters would realize this November team and March team will look very different. Especially as Pike teaches the 5 freshmen defense. Heck it’s gotten better along with rebounding effort in 7 games.

My point isn't that we're not fouling, as we are, my point was I don't think they're calling as many fouls on them as they should be, given how physical they've been especially on Harper's drives and on the boards.
Halftime crew said pretty much the same. Hopefully fouls even out

anyone who watches our games and says Pike isn’t a good coach is clueless. The adjustments at halftime are always very good.
our cutting today , specially J will has been on point. We’ve gotten easy baskets out of it. Have to keep doing it because they send a lot too the ball, and often ball watch
