That was pretty stupid.

I actually don't mind some of the Ts when players get overwrought about something, but taunting in a way that the refs can see is really dumb. I much prefer the Larry Bird approach - just casually tell the opponent he's outclassed. (There's a classic Bird story about the first 3-point shooting contest at the NBA All Star game, when he walked into the locker room, looked at the other contestants and said something along the lines of "So, which of you guys is going to finish 2nd?")

I was at the RAC in the late 70s when RU Mens BB was playing Larry Bird's Ind. St team in an early round NIT game. As the game finished , Bird walks over to his bench and punches one of the Indiana St Asst Coaches in the face with a friggen full speed haymaker !! LOL, nobody knew what the Asst coach did or say to Bird but man, Bird 'quietly' punched the guy's lights out !
