Well twice he took a joke of a program and made into one that was respected.

As for Rutgers QBs, seems the ones considered to be good when arriving, have triuble proving it.
Artur Sitkowski was touted to be a good one coming in, but proved to be the back-up type that he was in his last year in HS.
Wimsatt was considered a top talent, but hasn't shown that except on rare occasions.
All through the years good HS QB talent failed to show they were talented college players on a constant bases after becoming Scarlet Knights.
I finally realized why and it's not the way the coaching staff ( any over the years from Dr.John to G2, it's the state Rutgers is in.
New Jersey has the best pizza and its bagels can't be beat. ( because of Jersey air being an ingredient when they are being made)
So it stands to reason something will suffer to even out those good things about NJ and a bad must counter balance those two great things about being in NJ.
So it stands to reason: once a good talented QB commits to Rutgers and starts breathing NJ air, the talent is turned to gas and leaves through his rear while his play starts smelling and looking like ****
