Went to yesterdays Spring game vs Army. Mike played a 3-5-2 formation I believe. Liked it. We dominated possession & the midfield.
RU 2 Army 0. Other really good chances where good through balls were pushed by the strong wind enough to let the Army keeper just beat our girl to the ball.
Our outside backs were pushed up to the wing positions & really played O & D. A great deal of O. Allie Lynch & Emma Misal did great work there. Going to take great communication, spacing etc, between the 5 in the middle. We are a veteran team that should be able to do it. We'll see if he continues to experiment with this in the future Spring games.
