There were no other conference networks listed in this article so it's impossible to tell how it compares. It is notable that the Big Ten network on average can compete with channels from MLB and the NBA. I guess bigger is better? Here's the blurb if you don't want to scan the list:

BIG TEN NETWORK: While many of the league-based networks saw declines in 2024, including the NFL Network (down 26%) and NBA TV (down 2%), the Big Ten Network saw a bounce as it became the Bigger Ten. The addition of former Pac 12 teams like USC and UCLA must have had an impact, as Big Ten was up 25%.

Ive watched it less over the last 4 months as theyve moved programming to Peacock and everytime I turn it on womens volleyball is on
You would think during bowl season they would do like a 1/2 hr. special on each bowl participant breaking down their season and opponent they were about to face. But nope, I turn it on and it's nothing but replays. The channel besides live sports is unwatchable.

Does NFL Network even air live games anymore?
The games aired on NBA.tv are certainly not the premier games.

It's grest the ratings are up but the comparison to other networks is a little faulty.

That's not how midwestern people think.

Also, Rutgers coverage has been cut, now that the B1G has at least 2, perhaps 3 more "elite" teams in Oregon, Washington and USC.

As I flip through channels, there is rarely anything on worth watching.

Nice to see ratings up, makes sense adding large markets.

But also agree the quality has decreased. I get it, but sorry, I don't want to watch UW-USC volleyball at 1130pm, would rather see a review of the days basketball games, etc (and the quality of "The Big Show" has gone down as well now that they need to fit 18 teams into 30 minutes and devote the majority to blue bloods).

There are 3 games on NFL Network today. 1 on right now. The games hosted internationally are always on NFL Network early morning. Couple other games.. Thursday games used to be on NFL Network but they're on Amazon now.
