Lastly, if you're talking about the ability to play the best in the country... all I can say is Rutgers is only ONE of 5 teams in the nation that get to play the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS at our home next year. We can battle SEC vs. B1G all day, but at end of the day, you can't get better than the true playoff champs.
Ok...

Tennessee plays ALABAMA every year...you know that team that has won 3 National Championships since 2009...while OSU (another great team) has won 2 National Championships since 1972.

Since 1992, 11 times teams from the SEC won the national titles...(Alabama 4, Florida 3, LSU 2, Tennessee 1, Auburn 1)

Last time someone in the Big Ten team ever won a national title not named Ohio State or Michigan: 1960: Minnesota

A recruit could sign with Vanderbilt or Ole Miss or Arkansas (let alone Tennessee)...and still be guaranteed to play against the best or easily one of the best conf competitions, year in and year out.
