Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers Football set to welcome No. 5 Michigan to town

Our defense schemes on passing downs seem so poor. Too many open options for offense.

Fun game so far. We have a real QB. Can't wait for him to burn them with a run.

Dear Augie, the goal of an offensive lineman on a running down is to BLOCK a defensive player. Can you teach that instead of teaching how to be a turnstile? Sincerely, long suffering Rutgers fans.

Their style of play is one that can be stopped. It doesn’t mean we couldn’t be blown out but I don’t take it as a forgone conclusion. Have to keep some possession time though because that style can also wear you down. As the game goes on then they can pull away.

3 blown OL assignments on that 3rd down sack. The run blocking is passable but the pass pro isn't
