Simpson is a Soph, Gavin a Freshman.
Simpson was a pretty low base too last year, before finishing strong. He hasn't built off that finish.
Hopefully Gavin does.

This season has been very tough to watch and extremely unenjoyable. It’s hard to even find a bright spot or someone to be excited about in the future
He's got a big role to play next playing with Dylan and Ace. Very questionable whether he's up to it. His freshman year was awful.
Plenty of blame to go around. Pike and just about every player on the court. Horrible defense, can’t make layups.
