Not a huge fan of breakfast tailgates and I'm banking on a late start(Eric church concert night before) but what is everyone cooking? I'm looking for new ideas.

Most likely taylor ham, egg and cheese bagel sandwiches along with the usual fare (bacon, fruit, sausage, eggs, etc.).

usual breakfast fare: eggs, bacon, pork roll, pancakes or french toast, variety of breakfast breads, variety of drinks.

post-game tailgate will probably just be hot dogs and hamburgers. we are typically more low-key for post-game.

Post game will be very dependent upon the weather - if it's brutally hot, we'll probably jet on outta there as soon as traffic allows.

Geez, hope your assemblage is hitting the gym after the game.

We make something called drunken French toast. Just and some rum the egg and milk mixture and boom, drunken French toast. You can also subsitute egg nog when avaliable.

Half my group not even coming to the game.
The rest may just hit a diner on the way to Piscataway.
Totally sucks that this game is at noon.
Totally sucks that Homecoming is at noon
I know they don't give a shit about us ticket buyers
but this crap is getting old.

Of the 5 home games scheduled so far, 2 are at noon, 2 are at 8 pm, and 1 is at 3:30. Looks like a pretty balanced schedule to me.

Personally, I like the variety in start time, allowing for variety in tailgates.

I don't really like noon games. But it's not exactly under our control. So bitching about it seems... pointless, I guess.

Yea, I want to go back to Thursday night games and I think we even had a great Tuesday night game.

I think it was 9 or 10 teams in the B1G have noon eastern time Homecoming games. That means many of them are starting 11 am local time. They are set by the conference.

not a big fan of noon games because it basically means you are relegated to eggs....but at least its a healthy option. I will probably do 10 eggs (only 3 yolks) although my buddy will do a dozen with 4 yolks, some cheese, mixed some shop rite executive turkey breast deli meat, maybe some hashbrowns. Not going to go all out for this one as it figures to be pretty warm and this is just a trial run getting the kinks out for the following week.

probably going to do Melonballs as drink of choice...too bad Nuts is no longer in the purple lot

I'll be indulging in my usual breakfast of greek yogurt and 30g protein bar. Got the body fat down to 13 percent. Based on some menues above, I take it some aren't too concerned about their body fat percentage.

Moose - Where are you finding 30g protein bars? The best I found up here is 25g.

You're havin' Haggis for breakfast? Brave man.
Ewwwww. LOL

Not doing the haggis. Probably won't really have Scotch either, although one of my favorite tailgate memories in recent times involved splitting a bottle of Macallan 18 w/another member of our tailgate crew before a noon game. We didn't intend to drink the whole bottle, but it just sort of wound up empty.

I really enjoyed the first half of that game. I think.

We have decided to celebrate becoming citizens of the CONCH REPUBLIC ( I have citizenship papers, a passport AND I am officially in the CONCH NAVY) by eating Key West style....blackened lobster tails , shrimp and scallops(all caught by ME), conch fritters(which I will buy at Duffys because theirs are heavenly)......conch chowder and lobster bisque and the all important KEY LIME PIE from Old Town Bakery. And while there will be a full bar, RUM drinks will be the order of the day. There will also be hot dogs and hamburgers on the BBQ..........

I like having a theme when I cook.....

Then again, they're not eating greek yogurt and plywood bars during tailgating.

Do you even lift, bro?

RU game starts at 10 a.m. for me, so I'll wake up to the game in bed and probably only have coffee. Then I think I'll grill up some burgers on my new woodfire cowboy grill for lunch.

Well this thread got me no ideas. All I leaned is meat heads don't cheat on their diet and in addition to Bac eating crap meat he drinks chick drinks. Since I have no new ideas, I will go with a sandwich I started last year:
Taylor ham egg and cheese on an English muffin with smoked pulled pork. As for the 12 start, I'm not gonna complain. We get home in time to watch some very good games.
