I don't understand that last play - why throw it to Pacheco in the corner and not try to just get a first down?
the penalty was a killer and our QB play is just too spotty to count on. Still the team has incredible heart and we have improved so much in so little time. No moral victories but no reason to feel down about this one either. Big picture says everything is looking good for the future.

I still can't believe that set of plays in the first OT. Not sure what the coaching staff was thinking there.
Rutgers fans do not deserve this. This was the stereotypical Rutgers game in any aport
Young's PI was the worst on 3rd and 18 - how can you not keep the WR in front of you there?

Hated those play calls in 3OT. Gleeson just gets too cute, too often. Our last two plays were designed throws to RBs when they couldn't stop our WRs most of the night.
Our dumb coaches blew this game in the first overtime. Inexcusable idiocy the likes of which I have never seen.
They will never call DPI on a gadget play.

Exact scenario last week and Vedral threw an INT and people hated that we didn’t just run it.
Not gaining yards on our first OT possession and the missed FG. Killer.

Didnt like the offense play calls in OT. Only needed a first down there. On the missed FG drive needed to run downhill. Nevertheless Greer game and effort
Played hard, but just too many mistakes overall and bad coaching in first OT.
agreed.. that PI call; was BS. The lack of hold or PI calls on Michigan... that stupid facemask that in slow-mo was nothing worth calling.. the attempt to stop our last regulation drive with that oddly discussed motion penalty... which on film showed he moved with everyone else... on the snap.. just BS... and the worst.. that pick play TD pass for them.. OBVIOUS pick play.. WR sought contact.. did not just stake out a spot to get in the way..
Starting to get worried .. 2 winnable games in a row with very, very questionable playcalling. We are somehow scoring points but there is some low IQ playcalling on offense

On that last play, Jones was wide open on the far left with an easy pitch and catch for a first down, but Vedral didn't see him.
There should be a website independent of the leagues that impartially grades officiating. The data from there would be interesting.
