Butler getting destroyed. Doesn’t bode well that 2 of our starters getting beat by unranked wrestlers. Starting to get sick of the underachieving

Butler defaults out losing 12-1 with almost 5 minutes of riding time against him. Not good

And the kid White lost to Friday just lost to Indiana’s backup 165. Just saying
Mesenbrink did? Wow that’s huge then he’s viewed as a title contender lvl guy forcing Facundo into a Olympic RS wit his arrival.

Its looking like we have 2-3 true AA contenders - Dean, Yara, and maybe Poz. Still early but lets see on Moore and Soldano as season progresses and if Shawver can learn how to win these SV matches. 2 in a row he has lost

Butler getting destroyed isn't very promising and Shawvers performance wasn’t great given how good he looked on Friday vs Latona.

Damn thought Butler holding off Henson, along with his FS win over Amine meant he would have some potential this season… Shawver looked good against Latona but maybe undersized at 33 and looks more like a natural 25… he slowed down a little in the third and OT.. damn was expecting him to do better this tournament after how he looked against VT

Fongaro getting teched is disappointing
It is, but that kid is really good in what I have seen of him. He beat AA Composto a week or two ago and lost to Kasak by a point who himself lost to Bartlett in SV. You have to wonder if a kid like that is happy spending rest of his career as PSU backup. If not, would be a nice portal pickup.

Looking at today's overall results, it seems like Friday's underperformance continued. Was hoping we would rebound. I didn't watch the bouts. Could someone who saw our guys compete comment on my reaction to the looking at the results?

Shawver
had an opportunity to be tested if he made the finals and met Nagao of Penn State. Instead he lost to a freshman who barely beat Hermes? What does Shawver need to do to improve. As Goodale said, these bouts are important and will impact seeding come tournament time.

Was Butler hurt? Did he gas? Was he outclassed? ScottRU93 said, "Butler defaults out losing 12-1 with almost 5 minutes of riding time against him"

White lost to two good opponents. Unfortunately that will not help with his rankings. How did he look against
Fish of MSU? Is there a good chance for him to reverse the outcome in the MSU dual meet?

Yara continues to beat everyone in front of him? Did he dominate Day? Hope he goes to the Midlands. Otherwise, his first opponent in the top 19th is likely to be in two months when he faces Davison of Michigan

While Cartagena-Walsh didn't have any difficult opponents, gotta love his results. How did he look and what is his ceiling?

The good news is we should really dominate our next 8 opponents (Edinboro, Princeton, Buffalo, Penn, Rider, Indiana, Purdue, and Michigan State. By then, do you think we will be prepared for Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio State, and Penn State..
