So far so good takes the 1st shot and takedown. He’s good on his feet he doesn’t need to rely on counters. Yet he doesFor once, I’d like to see Sammy start with a sense of urgency instead of always being in the defensive/counter attack mode
Is session 2 connected or is there an intermission? And are there wrestlebacks or consolations?Sammy narrowly pulls out another one but he looks absolutely gassed.
I thought Bill said Peterson was the more likely one to bump up to 133 next year? I guess if they both wanna go 133 next year then they wrestle off for it and the other guy goes 125? If neither can go 125 then yeah we will have problems..Easier on paper than in reality, but I think Bill has said here Shawver has had a little bit of difficulty holding 125 and he’d be the likelier of the two to bump up. Kind of crazy considering Peterson as a sophomore in high school was talking about going 132 or 138 his junior and senior years.
That's been his style since youth wrestling and isn't changing, so get used to it lolSoldano hit a 6 point move in the 1st period. He gets in these underneath arm/body locks too often for my liking but it seems to work consistently.
Every team has top recruits that don't pan out for a number of reasons, whether it's injuries, peaked in HS, not putting in the work, loss of drive, etc.Anthony Clark got dominated by Colaiocco. Not unexpected given his 2+ year hiatus from live wrestling, but I really wonder what happened to him.
I watched the end of it and he had no offense and looked tiny.
That's his style and isn't changing, but he definitely needed more rest time after the opening match.Alvarez just kind of always looks tired and is pulling his shots. He has second shots or reshoots and he just half shoots em.
If they all stood side by side I’d have no idea who was who. 165 for us, there’s no need for words anymore. We all know what to expect. All the braunagels have receding hairlines at 20.....
One of the 2 needs to hit the weights and move up to 133.Really hope they find a way to get both Shawver and Peterson in the lineup next year. Shawver has wrestled awesome all year.
Lot of that going around lately. Similar can be said about Alvarez, Poz was looking burnt out last year, Janzer hasn’t been the same since his early days at RU mostly because of injuries. You can tell he doesn't have the same strength, confidence, or moxie anymore unfortunately.
