No. 6 Seed Rutgers Men's Lacrosse Hosted No. 14/17 Ranked Harvard in NCAA Tournament Sunday 5pm (The hill will be OPEN Sunday at Yurcak!)

They played well. Almost scored with :O5 left. If they clear the ball they win but you have to give Penn credit. They made a play.

St. Joe's apparently has the best FOGO in D1 lax. He's welcome here after Yale mauls them. I could see their HC getting an Ivy/ACC/B1G job at some point soon as well.

I wonder if jersey shore lax has any further comments on his prediction the Yale would be the only Ivy to advance out of the first round.

Penn was sloppy.
Penn looks extremely beatable should we get past Harvard tomorrow. I'd put Rall and JJF on Handley and Smith.

St. Joe's with a shit for brains mistake which leads to possibly the dagger for Yale.

All year I and others have emphsized the importance of match ups and being in a zone of FO's. Well we just saw an example. The St Joe's guy dominates over the first 20 and the beating that goes along with it. Yale counters with a fresh face and turns the tables.

I was referring to a save by the St. Joe's goalie and the middie stupidly didn't complete the clear in 20 secs, so instead of possibly tying the game, Yale immediately goes in and scores to expand the lead to 2 goals.

With Shellenberger , Moore and Lasalla healthy (which I though cost UVA a seed) I thought UVA might dominate Brown. But this is a hell of a game.

Uva is very talented but they cannot make these mistakes against Maryland. Maryland will punish them if they do.

Very impressed with the job Nunes did in goal for UVA tonight.

He played very well, and they also took some questionable shots. But you have to give him credit. He was limping into the playoffs. Against Duke he looked like a practice dummy.

Apologies if this has been answered already. Does the team wear different footwear when they play on real grass versus an artificial surface?

They wear spikes on artificial turf but depending on the weather they may wear the same or similar ones or if it’s wet, they would likely wear shoes with longer spikes.

Maryland sleepwalks to 21-5 victory over Vermont. Starters should be nice and rested for Virginia.
