I agree. This subbing time is where things could get tough. We need to finish 1 or 2 of these. I don’t want one of those usual one team controls but can’t finish and the other just gets a chance or two and then connects to win.

Yea, you can see the tide turning a little and more possession by England and pressuring the US more.Would not want to be GB having to determine the subs right now. Really tough call based on what I’m seeing on the field. Lot of US players now looking tired.
They look a lot fresher right now. Look at the field without focusing on any players - see them all when the camera angle is wide. You can see a clear contrast in energy between the two teams.Yea, you can see the tide turning a little and more possession by England and pressuring the US more.
Strange, nothing to lose and only chanceStupid decision not to put the ball in the box in the free kick.
Not even close to boring. That was boring AF
Lack of clock awareness, I guess.Strange, nothing to lose and only chance
Beat Iran and US should be in based on point differential, even if Wales upsets England.
A win and US is through. 5 pts will be good enough. It would actually be first place in the case you mention, outside of that it's good enough for at least 2nd.Beat Iran and US should be in based on point differential, even if Wales upsets England.
Answering my own question lol, I figure it will be on the back of a corner/free kick that we have the best opportunity to break any sort of Iranian bunker mentality. I'm not sure we have the quality to finish in that much traffic otherwise. This was a good point brought up earlier in the thread. If Iran plays a bunker style against us, how good a chance do we have to break it and get goals for a win.
If we could "tie" the UK Navy at sea in the War of 1812... we can do anything!England has never beaten the USA in a WC match.
Iran can't bunker for 90 minutes, as they don't know that a draw will be good enough for them. If Wales beats England, it won't be.This was a good point brought up earlier in the thread. If Iran plays a bunker style against us, how good a chance do we have to break it and get goals for a win.
I saw the ref warned Maguire but he didn't go forward. Wuzzup with datfun watch.... QUESTION for soccer players... on a late ENG free kick... the US and ENG lined up just outside the box.. except for one ENG player on the far side who was slightly inside the box.
Why was that NOT an offsides as soon as the ball was kicked? Was it because it was "shot"?
And, if that was why, why didn't the ENG players just go to the 6-yard box to line up?
That was boring AF
