I saw him play last year. Dont think hes Rutgers good. Good player thoughJr QB from Rumson O'Toole is very good------Knights should take a look at him.
Yes, they remind me of Haddonfield in the 2010s with how they play the game with precision and always seemed to be two steps ahead of the other team. NH is one of the better public school programs today.@tico brown watched this, this morning. NH is one of the most well coached teams in the state. Love a team that runs vertical choice.
I felt like it was a tourism ad for OC
That’s not as bad. Should help OC out a littleI felt like it was a tourism ad for OC

Who’s the maple shade qb? He looks really good. If he’s an underclass man , we should take a lookCollingswood up 34-0 at the half. Going to be a running clock in the second half. This what happens when small and outmanned schools try to run the same spread offenses that Bergen, Bosco, TRN, Irvington, and all the other power schools with 150 pound Center and 180 pound guards going both ways. Gotta figure out a way to compensate your weaknesses instead of running the same thing all the big schools run.
That said, Collingswood backs and recievers looking pretty good. Would like to see them perform like this vs the those 295 schools, which lucky for them are not in their 2023 schedule.
Always keep an eye on Haddonfield. They’re always in the playoffs and have done well. West Deptford is the same as HF but hasn’t been as successful. RFH is a great program who competes in a big school schedule. Dark horses might be Haddon Heights and Oakcrest.@tico brown who are the best group 2’s in SJ this year. Assume Haddonfield probably top 4 along with Rumson. I got Westwood winning group 2 in North Jersey. Just watched their opener. They scored 3 TD’s on 2 offensive plays haha (1 punt block).
Very true.NJ football is overrated. The top ranked kids hit rate is extremely low compared with other states.
Also, the quality of coaching in NJ is lesser than that of other states.
Caldwell was never really a good football program until the past 2 years. Came out of nowhere.Always keep an eye on Haddonfield. They’re always in the playoffs and have done well. Up north you have Westwood and of course Caldwell, who always win every year. Dark horse up here may be Hanover Park, who scores like 45-50 a game.

Coach Romano is a great coach. Long time assistant who took over in 2022. But they were also good in 2021 when he was the 2nd man in charge.New coach? IIRC Glen Rock used to have a solid Group 2 program. What happened?
Coach Delano easily a top 10 coach in NJ imo. Hes a sharp guy. I watch all their game replays on youtube. Channel is “haddonfield athletics”@tico brown - love the So Jersey football info - thanks. Haddonfield alum here.
They’ve had some off years but they’ve been in the playoffs:Caldwell was never really a good football program until the past 2 years. Came out of nowhere.
I grew up one town over. I follow them pretty close. They have traditionally been a pretty average program. Past 2 years came out of nowhere. I think theyre in good shape now though. Very good staff. They’ve had some off years but they’ve been in the playoffs:

Oh! Are you or someone here related to the qb? I really didn’t know!Huh? I meant it- the kid can sling it
Tried to give a program too much props I guess. But whatever they’ve been doing last few years definitely is working.I grew up one town over. I follow them pretty close. Thanks - didn't know about the channel. Interesting there are no bleachers on the visitors side but then I was there A LONG time ago.Coach Delano easily a top 10 coach in NJ imo. Hes a sharp guy. I watch all their game replays on youtube. Channel is “haddonfield athletics”
A lot of schools with stands on only one side. But Haddonfield is a nice place to play/ watch a game. Unlike most schools down there that’s wide open, Haddonfield’s field is hidden away behind the school. But once you get inside, it is a nice field. Thanks - didn't know about the channel. Was just about to say this. Game of the week imo will be mount olive vs randolph. Some pretty good Week One games being streamed on the Morris Sussex Sports YouTube page. Most of the games are done a lot better than some companies who charges money for you to watch online.

Other north jersey games that should be good
Don Bosco vs Erasmus Hall
Bishop McDevitt vs Depaul
Northern Highlands vs Wayne Valley (NH will roll but I love watching them, so so well coached)
St peters vs st joes prep (pa)
They've had sucess going back to the 90's. Typically one of the better small school programs in Essex County. They’ve had some off years but they’ve been in the playoffs:
