OT: Euro 2016

So the Euro 2016 is coming down to the third and last game of the group stage.

Which are the teams that have impressed you the most so far ?

Mine are (in no order): England, France, Italy, Spain, Croatia, Belgium(last game). Germany

Most disappointing: Portugal

Italy looks good.
Croatia and Belgium have serious talent and can make a run.
Belgium isn't disciplined enough and consistent enough to win it all, but they can make a push
England isn't a good squad. Not enough class technically.

I'm curious what has Germany done to impress you? They beat an unimpressive Ukraine team and tied vs Poland who could've easily beat them

I would definitely agree on Portugal being the most disappointing so far. Can't say I feel bad for them lol

I would definitely agree on Portugal being the most disappointing so far. Can't say I feel bad for them lol

Germany has talent, but Goetze playing as the false 9 is not working so far. You need a really good offensive midfield to be successful with a false 9, like Spain did in the last Euro Cup, with Fabregas the false nine.
Germany doesn't have a great/solid striker and that may be their downfall. In my opinion they should use Mario Gomez as their striker. Muller is labeled as a striker but not in the classic sense.

Disappointed in my Portugal team, should have easily put away this whole group. If this team had a #9 with Nani and CR7, it would be a favorite to win this thing.

I've thought France, Italy have looked good and Spain to a degree as well but haven't seen all the games. Outside of the US obviously, I always find myself rooting for Germany in these international tournaments. No German blood so not even sure why lol. I think they've looked so so in the tourney thus far, but nothing impressive.

As a German fan, I was underwhelmed in the game against Poland, but honestly Poland was a team I never wanted to face in the Euros. They have a tremendously talented offensive team that is largely underrated. Add in the fact that they are a huge rival and a draw wasn't a bad result imo.

France - Switzerland was really boring today. But both are through to the knockout round.

Poland is the team that's impressed me the most.

They had Germany on the ropes.

Belgium woke up yesterday against Ireland and looked like the team everyone expected they would be.

Portugal is a nice solid team, but even with a good striker Portugal would not even be a top 5 team in the euros. Never mind a favorite lol.

No team has been really impressive at all. The favorites have all looked underwhelming at times.
