It’s weird though. A buddy of mine had Covid months ago. He did a fifth of scotch daily and swears it helped him.
Pssst, your friend is an alcoholic.
And he's gotta be drinking cheap scotch.Pssst, your friend is an alcoholic.
I had a few generous Manhattans and martinis when I had it on the days I felt up to it and never felt like it did me any harm. Weird thing is - and this is just one way why any comparison of COVID-19 to the flu is faulty, since they are not at all alike - is that I wouldn't even think of taking a drink with the flu. I simply wouldn't want to. With COVID, it had some appeal, except for the time I couldn't smell or taste it anyway. It’s weird though. A buddy of mine had Covid months ago. First, hope you feel better soon. You seem to be doing all the right things, which is good. It’s weird though. A buddy of mine had Covid months ago. He did a fifth of scotch daily and swears it helped him.

I’ll take my chances with a common cold over Covid any dayThe common cold is worse for a lot of people than c-19. 4 or 5 days and you will be all better.
Take a few Hydroxychloriquine tablets every 4 hours and drink a fifth of vodka a day , the common cold is cured in no time with that medical treatment .The common cold is worse for a lot of people than c-19. 4 or 5 days and you will be all better.

Start out with 2 Hydroxychloriquine tab and a Bloody Mary ( triple shot of vodca) as soon as you wake up and you won't feel a thing in no time.
As for the OP, just do what your doctor tells you and just laugh about some of the advice you're being given here.
I have one too, kind of fun to check in every once in awhile.Got a pulse oximeter. I’m sitting at 98, so that’s good. I’ll check periodically.
I have mine on my finger right now 🤷♀️I have one too, kind of fun to check in every once in awhile.

hope all that got this disease do well but why does anyone feel discussing this on a football message board makes any sense or is meaningful especially if you're currently ill--a waste of your get well energy
Ron, I have a feeling you will be fine. I feared the 5th day or the 10th after reading stories. Then I stopped with the fear porn and just relaxed. 🤞My only fear is that all of a sudden, I’ll drop off the cliff. I seem to have the neuron stuff going on (headache, loss of sense and smell) and not the respiratory. I’m almost dreading that that is coming soon.
"share experiences and treatments." sorry but who would really trust the medical opinions of "experts" on
these boards --- other than those that tell you to stay in bed and listen to the real experts who are actually treating you
Just my experience, but I had all that and kept waiting for it to get worse. Near the end of my second week, I felt noticeably worse - crushing fatigue, labored breathing after a flight of stairs, and such, higher fever, and I was freezing even with four heavy layers on. It was nothing I couldn't deal with, but I kept waiting for the thing that would compel me to be hospitalized. It never happened (though there was one night where maybe it would've been smart, and my wife encouraged me to go). And that was the worst part of it. I turned the corner not long afterward and at the start of week three, one day I just felt markedly better. After about two or three more days, I was at about 90-95 percent, although that annoying dry cough lingered for another few weeks. My only fear is that all of a sudden, I’ll drop off the cliff. I seem to have the neuron stuff going on (headache, loss of sense and smell) and not the respiratory. I’m almost dreading that that is coming soon.
Go take your crusade to the CE board. All debate on that topic belongs over there. You clowns can fight to your heart's content on the forum provided for it. This is not that forum.Whatever man. I responded to someone who equated this to the flu not the OP. And will respond to anyone who continues to downplay the virus every time. That mentality is leading to more. People getting sick and dying.

Why do people feel the need to critique people's discussion topics?hope all that got this disease do well but why does anyone feel discussing this on a football message board makes any sense or is meaningful especially if you're currently ill--a waste of your get well energy

You put it on your finger? Damn I'm going to have to move mine. No wonder it was pinching me.
An interesting bit my doctor told me today is, 10 days after first symptoms you can end your quarantine. No need for a second test.
Which is good because I thought I might have to test negative before ending quarantine, and I've heard some stories about that.
True story, we got ours this summer, wasnt feeling well last month, used mine, oxygen was fine but it kept showing a pulse 39-44. When it did i could feel a big thump in my heart, and a bit light headed Called my cardiologist, She ran an ekg, and they identified a PVC, which is mostly harmless, except mine is very frequent and almost nonstop.. doing a few workups now to see if anything more serious going on.Me too. Lol. It’s at 99.

Btw pulse is actually 72, the pvc throws the algorithm off...but pvc requires a look. My Mlaw has covid and her O2 dropped from 98 to upper 80’s and off to the hospital she went.Wow!! That’s nuts. I’m glad you caught it!!
wow that is crazy. I didn't think those situations really happen or existYep. I feel bad for him (this is going to sound Jerry Springer-ish). He found out his wife was cheating with his step-brother, and his daughter isn’t his but the step-brother’s. Crazy.
Should he just call into the Michael Kay show like you and @superfan01 do?hope all that got this disease do well but why does anyone feel discussing this on a football message board makes any sense or is meaningful especially if you're currently ill--a waste of your get well energy
