OT: NCAA College Football Games Thread 10/26-10/28 Thurs-Sat

you really are that dumb aren't you? Had to quote this for posterity and all to see
Quote away. Your point is terrible.

If Maryland wins, you will say it is proof our Northwestern win means little because they aren't good. If Northwestern wins, oh no Greg hasn't proven he can beat a Maryland team that even Northwestern did. Never mind we beat Maryland in 2020.

Goodbye Terps. They might be 5-4 after Penn State next week.

NW INT stands so that's it for Maryland. NW will win. I think it hit the ground myself but not enough to overturn
me too but will take it!!!!!!

I'm having dinner with one of their big boosters and Alumni committee members who swings a big dk there when they come up and I'm not sure what to say about the team! talk about implosion

KU TD, takes the lead on OU..going for 2.

26-21..had it open but poor throw again by Bean unfortunately

This is perfect example of why you take FGs instead of going for it on 4th, like Leipold has a couple times this game. IMO it's a play it by ear thing but taking sure points isn't a bad thing in a close game.

They missed a wide open TD and had to settle for a FG and missed an open 2 now as well.

Lesson is: dark gloves, dark arm sleeves, and dark jerseys can pay dividends when scooping a poorly thrown ball.
Where's the asshat who was propping up Illinois for beating Maryland. Maryland has only beaten teams with losing records. Rutgers OTOH, has beaten two teams that do not have losing records. 😀 Or do the goalposts move now and Rutgers only beat them when they had losing records?

MD a brain fart loss. They're always good for 1 or 2 a year. And not all of Rutgers wins are over teams with losing records.

It’s like the air gets thin as soon as a team gets close to knocking someone off and it gets away. RU needs to be psychologically ready to win those big games when it’s within reach. There are some nice opportunities coming up.

That Maryland loss and PSU hanging on (keeps their NY6 chances in good shape) means Music City Bowl is very much in reach. The Terps were the team in a lot of projections for that bowl. They might not be favored again this regular season.

Next week PSU at Maryland... probably PSU favorite.

Then at Nebraska, who faces Purdue and MSU before that game. They could be 6-3 and favored at home over UMD.

Then home against OSU. Almsot definitely will be underdogs.

Then they come to our house. If they are 5-6, I won't be surprised if we are favored.

But then I guess it means even if we beat them, it won't count for much in some people's eyes because they won't have a winning record.

these officials seem to be quick to help OU at every instance. I think the slide was right at goal, could go either way

Come on Bean stick it in there but I wonder if you get a penalty for the hit?

Ball looked like it might have even crossed by the start of the slide

Maryland looking winnable
7-5 is a possibility if Bucks, Iowa, & Nitts don’t wear us out
I’m assuming no pinstripe if that’s the case

Yes there is penalty for the hit, so automatic first down. Come on KU punch it in now.

Hishaw in there for the KU TD!

Hishaw and Neal are a good pair of RBs, they just need to stay healthy.

That was a lot of holding on OU on that 2 point conversion that failed 32-27 KU
