OT: NCAA College Football Games Thread (Championship Weekend) 12/6-12/7 Fri-Sat

Didn’t think those were great calls to open up OT for Texas. Ewers has also been inconsistent with accuracy too. Asking him to make some tough throws there.

Handoff by the injured Beck to Etienne for the TD.

Just like the GT game. Nothing too crazy but just hand it off and power it in.

GT didn’t play to its strengths in all those OTs and Texas came out with some questionable calls to open its OT. UGA kept it fairly simple and manageable.

Texas couldn’t take advantage of a backup at half. UGA on the other hand stepped up and rallied around him.

terrible playcalling by UT and how do they not account for the blitzes but neither team looked dominant all year and in the champ game, both clearly have some weakness

Clemson with a strip of Jennings to start the game.

Oregon looking good early in their opening drive.

Oh goodness that was a good one by PSU…carrying the blocker on his back and taking down the RB

Oregon comes right back next play for the TD..7-0

Clemson converts the TO to a TD…7-0 Clemson

The SEC Championship was the worst game I've seen in years by two supposedly great teams. Lower scoring games can be exciting if the defenses are great. Not the case here today. Terrible number of drops, penalties, ejections, dumb passes and dumb coaches decisions. Neither of those teams deserve a bye and Texas doesn't deserve a spot to host.

I think just about everyone is flawed which is a good thing in a sense in that it can make the playoffs a little more wide open. Everyone looks beatable on a given a day. Portal and NIL has helped with spreading talent around more.

SMU stops the bleeding with a Jennings 24yd TD run…nice drive and good tempo use.

14-7 Clemson

Like that playcall for the Oregon TD…14-3 Oregon. Fake toss and TD pass to another receiver.

Embarrassing call

You can see the ref is kind off a p-$$y so he would make a terrible roughing call
