Well, yeah. I was talking about benching Alonso from first on Monday vs Milwaukee.
He’s been crap since the Donnie revalations. Him being in the HR Derby doesn’t help.
Used way too much this year. Not good when you are hitting the wall right before the All Star Break
No way, their only into year # 5 with The New Core 4. Give them time.
Maybe, they won't have $hit to say, they never come out when their down and out, we shall see I guess.
I like his stuff. He just seems to be off mechanics wise right now. Slider either off the plate or settling into the middle of the zone. Also a lot of pitches low out of the zone.
Maybe he needs a couple of days off after probably hitting the wall recently. He was solid in the beginning of the year.
It’s amazing how many times he strikes out without even fouling a ball off. Big win, however.
If Lindor is a tablesetter, we paid him about $200 mm too much.
Whatever it takes to win. Very good defense and is getting on base. Is he worth what we paid? Of course not. We are winning with him batting second. No reason to change it unless some else can bat second
You do know that Lindor is NOT a table setter
he is a .270 30+ HR guy with leadership and defense
Given that second is the new third, I'm not sure that "table setter" has any meaning any more.
You should hear the guys from Atlanta openly disappointed the Yankees didn't beat the Mets. 😲

Ugh. Yikes. Thought it was a minor injury. Unbelievable what is happening with the starters. Now Mets can also discuss Pineda with Twins.
Braved lose. The Marlins have actually handled them well all season. Now up 6-3 for the year.
I watched the game on MLB network, and with the Yankees the home team that meant the Yes network. Michael Kay, Paul O'Neill and David Cone. And let me tell you they are not nearly as bad as the Braves broadcasters. No blatant homerism and they were even openly critical of the Yankees at times. Had high praise for Walker and some of the other Mets who performed well in the game.

The SNY team was on channel 11 today. Can’t listen to Michael Kay. Despise him and his pompous attitude. I only watch him after Yankees lose in playoffs to hear him cry or make excuses.
100%, The Mets have ALWAYS had the best booth in NYC, it's not even close. Starting with ralph, Linsey and Bob, right through McCarver and so on. The Yankees pretty much have run a clown show in their booth. David Cone and Susan are true professionals the rest
