I did and have (sans 2016): “Must be a fellow lover of the fantasy postseason”
Yeah- I know you said that but my comment was about what the guy said not what you said. And CB has never had back to back bad “seasons” if he was talking post season fantasy- he should made that clear

Sorry, but this makes me sick to my stomach, as our country/government continues to bow down to the lowest element. Give me a forkin break already. Soon Scarlet Knights will be shown to offend some Leftest group I'm sure.https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/31868331/cleveland-changing-name-indians-guardians
People REALLY trying to have this thread shit down or moved to CE.

Personally, Guardians is stupid. Spiders would’ve been better. CBC would’ve been better than Guardians.

The Mets are sending Tommy Hunter and a minor league catcher Matt Dyer to the Rays in exchange for the 41-year-old Hill, who is 6-4 with a 3.87 ERA this season for Tampa Bay

Good deal. Fills a back end SP need. And gave up nothing. Is Matt Dyer related to Duffy Dyer?

I am trying to figure out why the Rays would make this trade. Only thing I can think of is that they have two injured starters (Chris Archer and Nick Anderson) who are about to come back, at which time they may no longer have a roster spot for Hill. Thing is though, those guys ain't back yet.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I can't help but see a red flag in that the Rays are unloading Hill while keeping Michael Wacha.

Ray’s just had traded for Nelson Cruz, so maybe it’s to even out the payroll some?

That said, there's some chatter that he hasn't been the same pitcher since the substance ban.

Never doubt what Tampa does. It always works out for them. Has to be financial.

Hill trade tells me two things:

1. Trade market for frontline starters is astronomical right now but may retreat a bit as we get closer to the deadline and the team is confident they are getting some pitchers back fairly soon.
2. Mets know they cannot wait for the deadline or for their players to return from the IL. You can't have two out your regular five starters TBA each series. The bullpen is gassed as it is. We need innings.

Jeff McNeil sitting due to leg fatigue

LEG FATIGUE???

Just for fun, I looked up Leg Fatigue on WebMD. It is not a thing. Fatigue is a thing, and a Leg is a thing, but Leg Fatigue is not.

In his post game presser on Wednesday, Rojas was asked about McNeil's removal from the game. He said not to worry, he isn't hurt, just fatigued. I expect him on the IL tomorrow.

Leg fatigue will keep him out till September.

Really wish Megill would pitch another inning. I hate games where Diaz might have to pitch.

I have yet to watch this kid pitch- does he pass the eyeball test or “analytics” test? He has been balling
