Like the Godfather part 3- just when we thought we were out, they pull the fans back in. LFGM.

Need to chop another game or two off this weekend. After leaving Colorado the Braves return home to a cushiony soft homestand. Meanwhile we have the NYY upcoming and still have road series in Milwaukee and Boston.
Admittedly I was done for the year if they blew that one to a team that gave up in July
Coming home from football game, my phone is lighting up that Mets blew 9 run lead. I figured they lost. How pleasantly surprised to turn game on and watch Trevor may get us out of that jam and then the Lindor homer! Thumbs up! 👍

I guess I have a greater sense of urgency to win games in September in lieu of wanting to puke seeing Luis Guiilorme in the starting lineup when wins are a premium and a must.

Inexcusable as much as Lindor gets on my nerves
Braves lose.. Within 3.5. Dream scenario. Win tomorrow. Braves lose again tomorrow. Win again Monday with the Braves off for travel and be within 2 games by Monday night.
Even more mind boggling is that the game is 7 innings and all these games vs nats are winnable.bland Nimmo is out. We need to win games. We are chasing the Braves. Rojas lost the game once the lineup was made. I puked when I saw Guillorme starting. He might be great in the clubhouse but not in pennant races playing ahead of stars.
On second thought I think I am wrong on this. You can recall a player within 10 days if you are replacing a player on the IL, as was done with Nimmo.

With Lindor, Baez, Guillorme, Villar, Davis, McNeil I think we needed another OF more than a infielder.
Before we talk players, we need to clean out the front office and the manager.
Still should have been able to win game 2 with who was playing. No name rookie pitcher shutting them down as is often the case. All I will say good about Megill yesterday is that at least he pitched the entire game and saved the bullpen after everybody had to be used in game one.
I'm not talking about off-season moves. I'm talking right now with Nimmo gone and the division title back in play.
I know Rojas and the front office should have been gone long before the trade deadline. What they didn't do at the trade deadline showed you they were the wrong leadership for this organization. They screwed the team with the lack of moves to improve its fortunes.
