The Mets have possibly the worst manager in the game. Unfortunately (or fortunately), they have enough talent to win a lot of games despite him.
Wait until Fall- there will be hourly Sitkowski and Anthony Russo (Mich State) updates on the boards.
Except that Russo and Art really don't fit a Gleeson offense so even if they succeed elsewhere, they most likely never would have here. As for KElenic- that swing could fit any offense.
BTW- with watching the Met's this year- I would have put a couple of starters on my cannot not trade list last year- at this point, there is no one on this team outside of deGrom that I wouldn't trade.
Walker. He is a steal for the money the are paying him. Wont give Polar Pete away either. Doubt our bench player fill ins Pillar and Villar get us much compared to how much they currently mean to the team. Other than that let the trade talks begin
Even Pete isn't showing me that he is a all decade type player. Very one dimensional at this point. I do love him but...I would listen to other teams.
Rojas is one-dimensional as a manager. Can he be part if a trade?
I think I have to take a break from the Mets because Rojas' decisions, as well as moves by management, give me splitting headaches.
One thought from my years as a coach. A coach is only as good as the talent around him. At the same time, the coach has to put the players in a position to perform at a high level. As of right now, Rojas is sending some players out there to fight with one hand tied behind their backs.

The Spring Season is not over until June 20. Then the Summer Season begins, and continues for three months. Then the Autumn Season begins. Soon thereafter the Mets' season will be over. Or not.

Where the hell is the power on this team so far. The lack of long balls is glaring. Its enough that when they hit one its generally a solo shot, but those have been few and far between.
What the hell do these players do in the off season? I've never seen so many on the IL across baseball. It's what, 25% of the season, and players can't stay on the field, unreal. I guess it's all about the money and the next long term contract. The old adage of " just tape it and play" is long gone. For example, I'm in 3 Fantasy baseball leagues, each with different rules on how many players are allowed on the IL, and I've exceeded the limit on everyone, with more players waiting to be added. What a bunch of softies this generation of ballplayers are.

No I believe that staff was turned over long ago. Still sucks but hoping Davis and Nimmo are ready soon. I saw elsewhere that Lugo may be back by the end of the month.
Per multiple reports, Conforto and McNeil will be replaced by Khalil Lee and Johneswy (sp?) Fargas. I don't think we get the best of that exchange. But on we go. LGM.
