Per multiple reports, Conforto and McNeil will be replaced by Khalil Lee and Johneswy (sp?) Fargas. I don't think we get the best of that exchange. But on we go. LGM.

Someone will have to be lopped off the 40 man to make room for Fargas.
Mets have announced the roster moves. To make room for Fargas on the 40 man, Lugo has been moved to the 60 day IL, retroactive to the start of the season. So he won't be back until June, which we all pretty much knew anyway.

To think, opening day, we were bitching about batting Nimmo 8th...at least his replacement is only one spot lower in the lineup

Johneshwy Fargas, rocking #81, is starting in CF tonight and hitting ninth. Taijuan Walker, batting .059, is hitting ahead of him in the 8 hole.

Mets have four starters and three reserves on the IL. They've blown through the 40 man and are now into the organizational depth guys. And that doesn't even include the pitching staff.

Right now this season has the feel of 2015. Let's hope it ends the same way. Well, maybe a tad better.

Did Sandy Alderson bring back the injury list vibes when he was hired again?

Mets hitters look so lost at the plate. They aren’t even close with the swings. Their timing is completely off. Are they still blaming this pathetic hitting on the schedule at the onset of the season?

I'm hoping the players are doing a silent protest to get Rojas relieved of duties. How else do you explain the rash of injuries? Also, get rid of the S&C and trainers.

How is it possible for the entire team to post career lows in almost every offensive category?
Just a coincidence 😳
Nothing to do with coaching 👎🏻

this is why I was so pissed about all the lost opportunities in April. Mets have to survive until some players get back. A few more victories in April would be a few more losses Mets can absorb in may

Toughest way to get an RBI. Left his blood sweat and tears on the field

You're right it might not have. It's tough to tell and didn't want to go back to check.

Some guys don't belong in the majors. Twice the Braves' catcher called for a pitch up in the strike zone and the guy threw it in the dirt. The next pitch was in Pillar's face. Just because you throw 100 mph doesn't make you a mlb caliber.

Anytime a pitcher hits a player above the shoulders they should be removed from the game and miss their next start without pay. A reliever should miss 5 games lose 1 games pay and if they didn't to pitch to the mandatory 3 batters they should get free walks.
The game has changed. It is time this crap should end.

it wasn't on purpose, that is dumb.

Chili Davis was made the scapegoat, but the truth is this team has paralysis by analysis. This team relies on pre-game reports to be the answer to everything. When the pitcher changes up things, this team dead in the water. I never seen so much guessing on the pitches.

If you suck that bad you don't belong in the majors. Never throw towards the head. It was either a purpose pitch that got away or he has not enough control. Either way he can end a career without consequences.
