Most of the teams avgs are like this. Wish it wasn’t but until everyone stops with the launch angles...That seems to be the mantra. But:

The reason the Mets are over .500 is the pitching. It's an odd year in baseball, with hitting numbers down, so I'm not sure what normal is. But the Mets aren't hitting much (23d in baseball OPS), and there doesn't seem to be a breaking ball in the dirt that they won't swing at. The Mets's bench is, well, fine I guess. But the pitching is leading the way--3d best ERA in baseball. Let's not get confused about what we're seeing.
Now, is this a different team healthy? Sure. How much. We'll see.
