There may need to be a rule change such that as long as you touch the base before the tag, you are deemed to be in contact with the base unless you pass it. What is happening now is a disincentive to aggressive base running, and that is not good for the game.

Considering the hand they have had to play with the last 2 weeks, to still be in first place is quite an accomplishment. I get it. Fans want more. There are plenty of warts on this team, but they are winning and treading water in spite of the warts.
I assume that Fargas goes on the 10 day IL to make room on the MLB roster.
McKinney is a stopgap, no more no less. Lefty corner OF with some pop. Won't hit for average, but who does nowadays. Has no experience in CF, but then McCann had no experience at 1B before Monday. So we'll see.
Got him for the cost of a lottery ticket. Not a $1 lottery ticket, but a 17 year old Venezulan pitcher. Most lottery tickets do not pay off. If this one does for the Brewers, I'm sure we'll be reminded of it again, and again, and again.
