Why no Pete?No Pete tonight
I rather have the name Walker than (Andre) Scrubb from the Houston Astros.Rough name for a pitcher.

Lol. I had Scrubb on my fantasy team. Subsequently and quickly waived him.Why no Pete?

If you tell him that maybe he will change his mind.If Pete isn't injured or sick- Rojas goes on the shit list again...win or lose
Thanks for both updates. Always greatly appreciated!Yesterday Rojas said Villar was day to day. He has not been placed on IL.
I’m not the biggest Luis Rojas fan and things may eventually blow up. But not many managers would’ve done what he did with the Syracuse Mets this past month. If he can continue his momentum when the stars and free agents come back and play well, he has to be in the running for manager of the year.I give you that...I also think we tend to still hold on to our thoughts of a Manager from 10+ years ago.
it seems he may be learning the staff...Familia, Castro, GSell, Diaz have pretty much been used well over the past few weeks. The starters outside of Peterson would make anyone look good but I now want to see if Luchessi has built trust or if he is best at and continued to be used as an opener of sorts.
Will really test Rojas when our team gets healthy too. How does he get starters back in while keeping the guys that have filled in so well, happy and fresh.
I guess...and would make sense. And why not sit him going against Darvish.Maybe Alonso needed the day off. At Tuesday's game, he was on the field early doing an extensive stretching routine with a trainer. No other player was stretching as much as Alonso pre-game.
I remember Mason Williams when he played for the Thunder.Dang
CF had the ball until arm hit fence on way down. Almost a highlight film catch
Its clear watching the replay that he didn't bust it out of the box and was watching the ball as if he knew it was out. If he had; chance he could've circled the bases.Well some tough luck last night with Williams having the ball come lose for an HR and then Billy the Kid just missing both a traditional HR and inside the park HR in the 8th. No Villar even to PH which is worrying. Mets cannot afford any more injuries.
I did not notice that. Thanks for pointing it out. I thought he just got unlucky because the infielder was half way into the outfield because of the shift. Its clear watching the replay that he didn't bust it out of the box and was watching the ball as if he knew it was out. Mets fans love noticing the negatives and overlooking the positives. The Padres home atmosphere looks like a lot of fun for the fans. Not a fan of that home run chain, but the players and the Padres fans seem to love it. Heard faint Lets Go Mets chants during the broadcast, but not as loud as in Arizona.I did not notice that. Don't put me in that category with the others.Mets fans love noticing the negatives and overlooking the positives. The Padres home atmosphere looks like a lot of fun for the fans. In English, please?Freddy Valdez the PTBNL in the Lee deal. In our 12-20 range depending on the source with some big upside with the bat.
In English, please?
Thanks. Stared at the phone and PTNBL for several minutes. I did not even remember how/when Mets acquired Lee. He showed some flash in the field. Hope his batting picks up.In the 3 way deal where Benintendi went to the Royals and we acquired Khalil Lee we still had to give up a player to be named later (PTBNL). That player was named and dealt today to the Red Sox and it was Freddy Valdez. In the prospects rankings through he was in the 12-20 range so a decent name but of course Lee was ranked higher than coming into the year. Valdez has some pretty good upside with the bat.
