Like I said, What’s the point of having it if teams expect you to waive it just for the hell of it? Unless he’s sent to a third team that’s a contender or give him millions extra, he shouldn’t waive it.C'mon Eric, don't do it.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are back on the clock for Juan Soto.
Yes, he is reporting that Padres and Nats are renegotiating, and that the trade WILL be made, under altered terms.
If I am Cohen, I start with breaking the bank on Judge next year...Consider the Mets' issue with trying to hire a GM last year, and now possible trades smell like a conspiracy to punish Cohen because everyone feels threatened. Cohen is not a part of the "old boys" network. I say F the Cohen tax and start destroying teams starting this off-season.
Honestly, as great as Judge is, he is hurt too often. He has stayed healthy this year but has been injured a ton over the last few seasons. We don't need a Stanton type ( Great player but often injured) on the roster. If the Padres cannot sign Soto in two years, he is the one I would go after. He would only be 25 when he hits FA. Judge I believe is already 31.If I am Cohen, I start with breaking the bank on Judge next year...
From what I read, the trade goes on unchanged, just without Hosmer. But we'll seeSince Nats not going to take on salary will they get less prospect value back somehow?

Contrares was not coming here. Cubs do not like the Met prospects according to the scuttlebut.Hosmer shooting that down really hurts the Mets tbh.
Hosmer and Campusano to the Cubs for Contrares will be the next move announced by Preller.
Perhaps. If he goes on the open market he might be the highest paid player ever. If I am his agent maybe I wait it out.Apparently we’re going to resign Soto, extension talks will begin after the season.
Didn’t realize that.Contrares was not coming here. Cubs do not like the Met prospects according to the scuttlebut.
I’ve been watching a bunch of stuff lately from Soto, I really think he just wants to win.Perhaps. If he goes on the open market he might be the highest paid player ever. If I am his agent maybe I wait it out.
I would have taken him a week ago. We just acquired two left handed bats. Need a righty. I would take his wife; however.Didn’t realize that.
You guys want Hosmer? 😂
Well your GM is certainly going forward. Should be an interesting post season.I’ve been watching a bunch of stuff lately from Soto, I really think he just wants to win.
Something special is being built in San Diego, I’ll bet he signs a shortish extension that allows him to test the open market in his prime.
Mets will take his wife, not him.Didn’t realize that.

Sounds like he’s going to BostonMets will take his wife, not him.
Lol Padres get Soto, Bell, and Hader.yanks unload Gallo...to the dodgers. interesting.
So much for Dom to the Sawx.
Would rather have gotten Wilmer back.
Boras. There will be no extension. Heck, Boras probably wishes that the kid was a free agent now.I’ve been watching a bunch of stuff lately from Soto, I really think he just wants to win.

.886 OPS vs lefties. That works.Hits lefties this year!
I’m going to go ahead and assume it’s prospects with little prospects.
