Braves top prospect. Not a top 100 in the game. Called him up super early has only like 100 ABs above A ball.Top prospect Vaughn Grissom HR for Braves 💩💩💩
Related to marquise Grissom?Braves top prospect. Not a top 100 in the game. Called hi up super early has only like 100 ABs above A ball.
I don't believe so. He was a HS teammate of Riley Greene though.Related to marquise Grissom?
Really? He was kind of unspectacular in the minors and not much at this level. I’m not seeing speed, power or BA…Looking at the box score from today's Mariners game (beat Yankees again), I couldn't help but think about the guy who got away.
It took awhile, but he is now showing the world why the Mets acquired him in the first place. Hitting, speed, defense - the whole package. I'm not saying that the Mets will miss him THIS year. But with Nimmo's upcoming free agency, it sure would've been nice to have him ready to step in.
Yes, I do believe the Mets will miss Sam Haggerty.

Why do I got a feeling that Rutgers PA will be playing this at least 3 times a game?
So the Mets are not signing Nimmo?Looking at the box score from today's Mariners game (beat Yankees again), I couldn't help but think about the guy who got away.

What you are missing is my failed attempt at humor. I thought that the reader of my post would immediately think I was talking about that other guy who went from the Mets to the Mariners. His name escapes me at the moment.Really? He was kind of unspectacular in the minors and not much at this level. I’m not seeing speed, power or BA…
Not sure why he would even be in anyone’s rear view mirror much less missing him…
maybe I’m missing something
THAT was your takeaway from this post? I guess I'd better not give up my day job, if I had one.So the Mets are not signing Nimmo?
Unreal, his 1st AB first pitch today.https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id...hn-grissom-homers-seemed-kid-playground-debutBraves top prospect. Not a top 100 in the game. Called him up super early has only like 100 ABs above A ball.
No one has a sense of humor in here. I got it.What you are missing is my failed attempt at humor. I thought that the reader of my post would immediately think I was talking about that other guy who went from the Mets to the Mariners. His name escapes me at the moment.
You got me my friend. Funny thing is, the post seemed very unlike you…What you are missing is my failed attempt at humor. I thought that the reader of my post would immediately think I was talking about that other guy who went from the Mets to the Mariners. His name escapes me at the moment.
No need to be a DB with your holier than thou post.THAT was your takeaway from this post? I guess I'd better not give up my day job, if I had one.
Sorry. I thought my response was self-deprecating if anything. No need to be a DB with your holier than thou post.
I wonder if Mauricio gets moved to the outfield if Nimmo leaves.Sorry. I thought my response was self-deprecating if anything.
To your concern about Nimmo.
1) While anything's possible, I am quite certain Nimmo will not sign an extension prior to free agency, because that is not how Boras rolls.
2) Once Nimmo reaches free agency, I assume that the Mets will push hard to re-sign him, as the free agent market for CF's is otherwise weak, and they have no in-house replacement on the horizon.
3) Other than that, I have absolutely no clue.
He will be tried in the OF but not CF.I wonder if Mauricio gets moved to the outfield if Nimmo leaves.
The good news is that Nimmo seems to be lobbying for the Met's to keep him.I wonder if Mauricio gets moved to the outfield if Nimmo leaves.
Would not draw any conclusions from this. No one lobbied harder for an offer than Syndergaard. The good news is that Nimmo seems to be lobbying for the Met's to keep him.
It wasn't his 1st at-bat.Unreal, his 1st AB first pitch today.https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id...hn-grissom-homers-seemed-kid-playground-debut
Who right now is topping out at 94mph for the Phils.. . . No one lobbied harder for an offer than Syndergaard.
But he was injured, so he didn't have much leverage.Would not draw any conclusions from this. No one lobbied harder for an offer than Syndergaard.
Your right, my bad, stand corrected. It wasn't his 1st at-bat.
Would not draw any conclusions from this. No one lobbied harder for an offer than Syndergaard.
I was going to say- Thor was injured and we still offered him a QO...Nimmo is having the best year of his solid career and wants to stay...But he was injured, so he didn't have much leverage.
Well let's hope they do some of that pitching and just enough scoring against the Braves this weekend.Phils drop the finale to the Fish. Lose another 1/2 game. Fish should have won last night as well. Fish can pitch.
And watch the Phil’s take Max deGrom Bassitt for a combined 25 runs!Well let's hope they do some of that pitching and just enough scoring against the Braves this weekend.
Now that would stun the hell out of a lot of people. Including myself. And watch the Phil’s take Max deGrom Bassitt for a combined 25 runs!
