Max Fried diagnosed with a concussion days after he hit his head on the ground at Citi Field.
They made it retroactive to Monday the 8th and since it's 7 days I guess he COULD return to face the Mets next week.Max Fried diagnosed with a concussion days after he hit his head on the ground at Citi Field.
If he really has a concussion- he really shouldn’t even be warming up in 7 daysThey made it retroactive to Monday the 8th and since it's 7 days I guess he COULD return to face the Mets next week.
Seven days, from now or seven days from last Saturday when the injury took place? If he really has a concussion- he really shouldn’t even be warming up in 7 days
I do not know the protocol in this situation. I was just giving a ? Number of days. In football- pretty sure it is at least a week, if not 2. When my son got a concussion in training camp, NFL, it was 10 day’s minimumSeven days, from now or seven days from last Saturday when the injury took place?
No, I wouldn't go that far. I don't think anyone had anointed Kelenic as a generational player like Trout. But he was considered a "can't miss" prospect. While the jury is still very much out on him, he has gone from "can't miss" to "just might miss".Only been casually following the Mets last couple of years.
Refreshing my memory, we acquired Edwin Diaz in the trade for (checks notes.....) "next Mike Trout" Jerrod Kelenic.
Do I have that right?
Yes we did…a little at first but during the first year when Diaz and Cano both sucked and before Kelenic made the club- it was everyday anointed next Trout. No, I wouldn't go that far. Diaz has been an enigma. He went from lights out in 2018 (with Seattle) to awful in 2019, to good but not great in 2020-21, to lights out again in 2022. Based on that track record, do you make him the highest paid reliever in history next year? Somebody will.
In the words of the late great Joaquin Andujar: " You can sum up the game of baseball in one word - You never know."
The concern for the Phils, despite the losing teams they beat, is they are an offensive juggernaut, even with Bryce Harper out. A couple of decent pitchers too. Seems that as soon as they unloaded Girardi, who was apparently their albatross, they soared. Damn, that was a beautiful sentence if I don't say so myself.Phils during their turnaround have 20 wins against sub .500 teams. We will learn how improved they are this weekend.
Getting ridiculous we have every thing except hulu and apple tvGame tonight is on Apple+. Woo hoo.
I hate these f**ckking Apple tv games.Getting ridiculous we have every thing except hulu and apple tv
Last one was good with Randazzo. Going riding for first few innings will listen to radio.I hate these f**ckking Apple tv games.
Looks like Schwarber will be missing at least the first two games. Kind of leaves them now with Realmuto and Hoskins…The concern for the Phils, despite the losing teams they beat, is they are an offensive juggernaut, even with Bryce Harper out. I never added the SNY package and since MLB network is always a blackout- I only get to see the games on espn and apple. So, I’m loving it.I hate these f**ckking Apple tv games.
