As i stated before I’m a little over sensitive to Phillies games and to your point …Nimmo has had epic 7-8-9 pitch at bats to lead off games for the last 3 weeks.

Listened to first part of game on radio. Phillies are like 41-21 after firing the Albatross named Girardi. That's a great run, especially without Harper.
Has Girardi ever managed a team with less talent than the Phils? I'm asking because it sure looks from here he was probably benefiting from always managing a loaded team.

Phils are 10.5 back they would need to go 35-14

Nimmo to me has always been a 2 hitter - not lead off given his lack of stealing prowess. Solid player. Love his enthusiasm and defensive skills.
Also- keep in mind that Phils/Braves play a ton in later season...and the have SF and Hou mixed in.
Atl has the toughest stretch to end the season by far. I think that is why they have hung so tough- they have had a lot of easy stretches already
